haha, come on man, present an argument at least. i just don't see the logic in this that you guys say (or the sense of entitlement from haye)

and not everyone who doesn't like haye is american, nor is everyone not from london american

What if Haye wait for the June fight and Klit don't fight? I understand that Haye don't wanna sit out that long and wait, and he would get striped of his title if he don't fight his mandatory during that time. That's why he can't wait, Klit knows that also.

What contract? The contract with someone who can't guarantee that they have their titles on the line? What would be the point of such a contract? It would be worthless until Wlad fights Chisora so why bother signing it? Why should Haye depend on Wlad winning his next fight to meet him when Wlad did not need to make that fight, especially after he agreed to all his conditions?

Regardless of Haye being nothing more than a challenger, it's the fight people want to see. If title-holding Haye is no more than a challenger to you, what the hell is 14 fight Chisora? At last some people wanted to see Haye-Harrison, Wlad has no excuse for fighting Chisora.

jorodz, most of the yanks on this site bring up their sad excuses for fighters and say that they would beat haye. they just hate the fact that they don't have a champ so love to jump all over him. you mean to tell me you don't see it ? if not, you must be blind.

i get not wanting to sit and wait, risking losing the "title" and there is the possibility wlad won't be ready but...

1)haye's title is worthless now. it's only worth before was as leverage to sucker people into buying the harrison fight. he played that card and now his toys r us belt means nothing

2)i think people are looking at this like they're on equal terms and that klit should present a situation that also suits haye. the problem is haye is not the champion and this is the only fight that matters. he should take it, regardless of the date

he should depend on wlad winning because it's the biggest opportunity in his life. he'll NEVER get a better legacy fight. take the risk, it's worth it

and i agree that chisora is at best a soft touch but many champions did that between big fights. as i said, if wlad can be there in June, that's all that matter. but the chisora fight is worthless, i agree

i could see it if wlad were american but he's not. people aren't bitching about wlad because they don't have a champ. they're bitching about haye because of his actions. i can see an american/england divide on the site to be certain, but i don't think it's the case here

What really pisses me off, is that like a lot of other people, I'm not interested in name-calling and I just want to see the fight happen. Wlad just pulled off a major duck and gets an easy pass from his fans AND they have the nerve to call Haye a *****. Haye may be a lot of things, but he just told the 'man' that he would fight him on his own terms and in his own back yard, and the man chose a 14 fight novice instead. . .

i'm not interested in name calling either, but alot of people are. no matter what happens in this saga haye is always to blame which is a load of ****. i wanna see this fight, but i get the impression alot of people would rather it didn't happen. i think their scared haye would beat their precious little champ wlad. which is what i think would happen.

fair enough but it's tough not to blame the challenger in this one...

if louis over schmeling a contract and he turned it down, or holyfield offering moorer, or ali offering norton...

if any of those fights fell apart because of scheduling, the challenger would be blamed then to

This has nothing to do with whether Wlad will be 'ready' or not (and even if it was, Wlad hasn't fought less than three months apart for at least 10 years so why start now?). If Wlad loses, he has no titles to offer, and Haye cannot avoid his mandatory unless he is fighting a unification bout so any agreement to fight they have would be null and void. The only way around this is if Haye ditches his belt, which just happens to be the biggest bargaining power he has with the Klits, but then Wlad could develop an 'injury' and Haye has no fight lined up and no belt to bargain with. I would have walked as well. . .

To be fair, that was the first thing that Haye said was the reason for the fight not happening. That there was no way for Wlad to be ready.

Of course, now that he is trying to get Vitali in the ring with the same 9 week preparation time, we can see how weak that excuse was.

If there is a genuine problem with the mandatory, then that is another issue and may be a decent reason for Haye to withdraw.

come on man, this has been going on for two years now. haye said lets do this fight once and for all, but wlad chose to fight chisora. even after all the stuff wlad said about wanting to fight him desperately and calling him out on the internet. he had his chance and he never took it. wlad, not haye was the reason the fight never happened.
