I have no idea why vitali was gifted a world title shot after such a break, nor why such a puffing billy was in possession of the title at just the right time for vitali to have a shot. that's just as contentious, frankly. stinks of rife corruption..
No, you don't, Herol, do you ? ( Missus Gee could give you an inkling and if you collected a hundred inklings, that would equal one clue.) Since he ceded the title due to injury, he was granted emeritus status, meaning he could challenge for the title at any future point, if his health permitted. Sam picked up the title by KOing Maskaev, who had KO'd Rahman, (Lennox's erstwhile daddy). This made Sam the WBC champion at the time, and the number 2 ranked HW in the world, as determined by the boxing bible. (Sam was 30-0-1 with 25 KOs, his only blemish being a close decision loss to Vitali's little brother, and he had never been stopped.) The ring-rusty Vitali pounded him into submission in eight rounds, at age 37 and out of the game for more than three years, and without a tune-up. Of course, your trolling as$ probably knew all this but you have difficulty facing reality sometimes, as Missus Gee could attest. Tell us, Herol, has she been hankering for a 'Klitschko sandwich' now that the Welsh dragon is out of the picture ? Or is there some other reason for your trolling ?
Haye clearly ducked Vitali after negotiating with him to fight.... Wlad didn't LET Vitali do anything, Wlad never had a claim to the WBC belt, Vitali reclaimed the belt he earned. When two top ring contenders fight for a belt, it's not a paper belt.....can't blame Vitali that Lennox ran off with his tail between his legs
you've answered one question with 2 different answers you fool, cochulain. However then emeritus status is garbage, either you are top challenger or you aren't, and furthermore vitali had made 2 ****ty defences of the wbc title, one of the smallest numer of defences in history, further rubbishing the claim that he was worth some special treatment. its a set up by the K bro camp, no less. even with comeback fights like Tyson vs atg holmes, it was recognised as a token value pass the time defence, no one gave larry a chance.
Vitali has 6 more mandatory defenses in title fights :hi::hi::hi: Haye has one (38 year old Ruiz) which exposes him as a total Fraud "champion"
Haye is one of the most grotesquely overrated fighters in recent years. Not HOF material, and certainly not better than Vitali - who had a poor, but long-standing and dominant reign as a champion.
Correct, Vitali had 6 more mandatory defenses and never sunk as low as an Audley Harrison - worse than even Wilder's picks and that is saying something. Nice that Haye dikriders are back in circulation though, really missed them since toe gate.
haye is basically a product of the shhitty k bro era. An opportunist looking for minimum effort gains. He shoudda stayed at CW and tried to get serious there...but we all know he wouldda been KTFO again if he had stayed, and several time over.
Lay off the hooch, lad, or get you eyes tested, you old twit. You posed two (ridiculous) questions and I answered them both. Well, given that he easily disposed of WBC's champ, he must have been at a minimum, up to the challenge. Besides, your bile is showing here Herol. It's common for retired champions making a comeback to fight for the belt. (Evander made a retirement living out of the practise). Was that the case with Vitali ? Nobody gave him a chance ? You really need to stop obsessing about old burns on your as$ from Vitali's days. He's gone, just like Joe. Mayor of Kiev now... Musn't let old ghosts bother you, it'll interfere with your therapy and recovery. Hope Missus Gee is doin' her bit to nurse you back to passable mental health.
Good example for that is Eddie Chambers going down to CW and getting schooled or Huck having Povetkin on ***** street.
I think that this is a clever troll thread. In a way, that looking only at their top wins their resumes are not so far a part. You would have to examine their losses though. Haye getting KOed by blown-up MW and blaming his toe for his no-show against Wladimir. Vitali only blemish is supposedly quitting due to injury against Bird. And than there is his great effort against Lewis. Vitali resume is better but not far better. And Haye is getting a bit underrated because of his big mouth and the Wladimir fight.
Haye's resume is unimpressive, as you say, but Vitali's resume is even worse. Just look at it. It's obvious that Vlaimir fought all the talented guys, whereas Vitali fought all the fat plodders.
you answered twice. that's backwards reasoning. the forward reasoning asks why hes getting a shot without a warmup. sure past, shot champs are picked for easy moneymaking defences, but not if they are serious comebacks. after 3 year layoff u'd expect a warm up if they were serious.
