This terrible bum, who would knocked out by Price, won Price two times in the amateurs. Both fights were tight, but Robbe won them. And at the time he wasn´t half the fighter he is today. Price vs Helenius would be a good fight, either of them should try to get the EBU -belt from Dimitrenko first.
No he didn´t - truth to be told. I believe that Haye will be in his all-time shape in 2nd of July too.
haye will be in his best shape, lighter than ever for heavyweight. He has the better sparring partners who all replicate wlads style closer and are better fighters than what wlad is sparring also. Wlads sparring wont be good enough, they wont have the speed haye has, they wont have the suprising power haye has for his size, they wont be as quick for reflexes and better than it seems defense. Anything wlad tries in training,he most likely wont execute in the fight, hele just try his usual predictable tactics. does wlad know hayes exact tactics?,i dont think he does, haye changes up tactics for each fight.
Tactic-wise it´s very obvious how Wlad´s going fight, much more interesting will be to see how Haye is going to start, what changes he will adapt if the fight goes to mid-rounds and will there be a absolute war in the end.
I can see hayes style lending itself to a spot of switch hitting, this may be a good idea as long as he stays mostly orthodox
If he has been training southpaw it could be a back up incase his right hand goes. He's had issues with his hands for most of his career, could be a reason behind his inactivity.
could be he first found adam booth when he injured himself, adam booth runs one of the best injury rehab center here in London, he also gives lectures on physiology at universities.
If anything then Haye trains in a southpaw stance to train his left hand power. It's a good exercise.
I dont get your link...you quote the guy whos being challenged for a link to show that Helenus couldnt lay a glove on haye in sparring...did you miss the point there? Even the guy that started this thread..has provided no source for this threads title topic. It may or more not have some truth in it but like lots of things on here people go off and debate a topic based on hearsay. atsch
Finnish news paper but it didn’t say that helenius was unable to land a punch to Haye. It did however say that Helenius was impressed with Hayes talent and that Haye is by far the best fighter he has ever fight or sparred with
Haye's footwork isn't great at times, but he know he's got a task trying to duck under the jab. Maybe this could be practice in case he gets caught wrong footed. Helps to be able to lead with either hand. This totally makes sense too.
When the 'Dark Lord' thing started started after Groves-Degale, there were numerous threads about what Booth had planned for Wlad, and I almost posted that maybe he was thinking of training Haye to switch to Southpaw Rocky-style. I was joking at the time, but it would be hilarious if he actually is. I don't think there's anything in this though, it's probably Booth playing mind games to make Wlad and Steward waste training time on the possibility it may happen. He is always getting the opponent to think Haye will fight one way, then does completely the opposite (and it always seems to work even though people know that he does it).
