Is David Haye still in the country..?

Bottom Line is, he has insulted the Heavyweight Division and it's fighters, calling them all bums Fat and slow. David Haye is no coward, but its just annoyed me the way he has went about his business at Heavyweight. Very clever but, lets face it....he has taken afew of his fans for a ride and for mugs. And that's one thing in life that i cannot accept, being disrespected and taken for a mug.

Thats why i respect Audley Harrison, because he has been given every reason to retire and walk away from boxing, but he is still here and still fighting at nearly 40 years of age.

David Haye is a great guy and a good fighter, but he has taken his fans for abit of a ride and for mugs.

And these are the issue i want to address with him.

 

I set fire to Haye's book of a 1000 excuses a long time ago.

I don't think it really that crazy an idea to think that a boxer might take a peek at one of the major boxing forums on the internet, after all he is human you know.

 

Yet in his latest video he says he wanted 50/50 - because thats what he always demanded all along. :-(

Haye is just another fighter now - part of the boxing politics problem - where good fights dont get made because of squabbles over money and terms and conditions, etc.

If Haye wanted the fight - he would cut some slack.

 

Haye should have done the honourable thing for his own development in the Heavyweight division and knocked out the so-called bums in the last year.

He would have gained experience of the punching power needed to stop some of the harder fighters in this division and he would have cemented his place in the top 3 with the brothers.

Having not done this and leaving so much time between fights he has brought so much hatred on him he will find it tough to get any recognition from neutral boxing fans.

 

You folks can whine and cry about Haye all you want for betraying your loyalty to him... at the end of the day he is laughing all the way to the bank, counting his millions. He promised you big unification fights at HW and he brings you near-40 year old nobodies @ 14.95 quid a show.

Haye is running a legal scam, he knows it, Booth knows it. Just his loyal and naive fans are slow to wake up to reality.

 

Well I think thats what people have woken up to now.

Haye dosent love boxing - at least not now.

He is in it purely for selfish reasons - min risk / max reward.

He is not interested in developing himself as a fighter.

He fights once a year just to get paid. - and now to keep hold of the WBA belt - the other months of the year - he just creams in money from Magazine deals - TV show apperanceres - dinner with champ evenings - and probaly appears at nightclubs for a appereance fee.

He dosent want to hang around for too long - wants out by 30 - with only a couple of scars marking his glamour boy good looks.

He really did want the Klits at first - but now with the WBA title - he has found a alternative way to make money.

You could say he is just being smart - who wants to fight some giant heavyweights who would KO him - when he can make easy money elsewhere.

However - the backlash is because he talked himself as someone different from that.

You just wonder now - if he was just in it for all the easy money - why didnt he just sign with Frank Warren from the start of his career ?

Frank would have made him alot more easy money probaly.
