Em, you have missed the whole point. You are not representative of the Brit Forum, Rob. Most of us don't feel the need to cry into our pillows every night because Haye and Pac won't fight someone. We move on and talk about what is happening.

I don't see what your first point has to do with anything. So what, you supported him. You don't like his choices now? Don't support him. Simple.

    yeah I agree

    Hatton is better than Haye.

Hatton was - I'm all about making as much money as I can - get me Floyd and Pac , etc - cos they are the mega big fights - for the mega big money. If I get knocked out - OK - it be worth it - for the money and glory of the big event.

Haye is worse - he wants the money and possible glory of winning the belts in a major fight - no doubt - but he dont want to take the risk of getting knocked out.

Ricky Hatton was more willing to fight the best than David Haye.

Any announcement from Haye is exciting, since we have to wait 3 weeks to hear from him

    Hopefully its by Twitter.

    Can we just agree that

    a) Haye-Harrison, while a poor fight, is looking likely to happen
    b) hopefully Haye will fight Wlad in the next 12 months or so.

Otherwise we're just going round in circles. Rob has started a thread on Simpson-Smith, a fight that IS happening, that must have took a fair while to put together. Its getting totally ignored because we're banging on, yet again, about a fight that isn't happening.

Is this the high quality material you're talking about? Can't believe he didn't get an oscar, terrible oversight

Whats more Hatton was willing to take the smaller share of the purse against Mayweahter and Manny.

Why not ? - **** it - if your getting paid £10 million - thats great - it only hurts if you got a silly ego - that dont like the fact - the more higher decorated fighter is getting paid £20 million.

Thats David hayes problem - his sense of entitlement - he dont deserve as much as the klitschkos. But its a excuse to use to not fight them I suppose.

So people moan, who gives a ****? That is what happens in a boxing forum. You talk about the good and the bad.

You meet a girl and she turns out to be a psycho. You're pissed off and you'll vent to your friends.

You're going on holiday but your airline goes on strike. You let out your frustrations.

You think Pac/May and Wlad/Haye will happen in 2010 but it doesn't. You vent about it on a boxing forum.

You then move on. Not all who are pissed off about it are crying themselves to sleep over their hero making promises he had no intention of keeping. Some of us are just boxing fans who want to see the best fights happen, and if they don't well of course we'll be dissapointed. Some of you are moaning about people moaning saying **** like this forum is going downhill and all that ****. I could say the same thing to you. It's only a ****ing forum, who gives a **** right? So what if it's full of whinging people, life goes on right? There is life beyond a forum right? Exactly, so there you go, you're moaning about something that's even less significant than fights not happening.

I'm not one for dwelling on the same subject for a long time and I can't even relate to the dissapointment that much because I'm not a Haye fan but ****, how you gonna berate people for bitching about fights not happening when you keep bitching about the quality of the forum.

    Abraham-Froch
    Lopez-Marquez
    Pac-Margarito
    Ward-Dirrell
    Cotto-Chavez Jr
    Martinez-Williams II (possibly)

All good fights that will be fun while they last or very interesting. Four of those are between the top guys in that division – plus we had Calderon-Segura just this past weekend (a unification and a new lineal champ), and Dawson-Pascal wasn’t long ago and was a good scrap for dominance of the division.

I just don’t get the suicide watch thing at all.

You can disagree with me (though you’re undoubtedly wrong because my attitude gets me through the year without throwing an internet ****-fit) but you are completely over-reacting to this stuff.

If you didn’t take it so seriously (a good thing since you seem to misunderstand boxing and the politics of it), you’d enjoy it a lot more.

I’m thinking of your health, Rob. I just want you to be happy.

Go on, give me a smile. See… there we go.

(c), is a perfectly acceptable addition.

I don't think any of us are fundamentally disagreeing on that (except maybe the terminology!), the disagreement are coming over the validity of the reasons why he is doing it and peoples reactions to the decision Haye has made.

Would be funny as **** if Briggs beat Vitali.

It's not the mission impossible many people are making it out to be.

To be fair I think both otpions were fair enough.

However I also think Haye and Booth were looking for an excuse not to share the uk tv money.

If Haye is willing to go and fight in Germany then I don't see the issue with the deal.

When does the Klitchko deal with RTL end?
