Then what is he waiting for?

Surely he isnt afraid of the Cannon is he, a 40 odd year old guy!

Haye younger, fresher, quicker all round advantages?

The man is living day to day and doesn't want any risk in his life as he tries to manipulate a big fight and get paid.

Shame really that he still thinks of himself as the big draw that he never really was.

He is a big brick out door toilet.

He is still a big draw, him v AJ or Fury would be simply massive in UK. AJ can't sell a stadium out fighting American bums but would sell Wembley out fighting Haye.

We all know that he would fight Joshua straight away but fat chance Hearn is going to risk that. Haye is a ***** but he's still a top 5 HW and he is now a 'who needs him' man.

Haye is a fame hungry *****. Should be made to fight a few live body's before he's even considered for a fight with AJ. He looks a total desperate moron begging for the Aj opportunity.

Why do you think Haye is a top 5 heavyweight? I agree he is by far the biggest fight for AJ, he's well known by the public and sky would make it a huge fight! But I don't understand how you can rank haye in your top 5. His best win at heavyweight was Derek Chisora and that was years ago. He's done nothing since then.

    Any news on Hayes plans?
I thought he planned another fight in September.

Any rumours how seriously he is taking his training as he always looked very athletic and fast but looked a bit flabby in his last 2.

If this were true he'd actually be fighting them and not obscure bums.

Actually, the division has long passed him by. His lack of heavyweight chin did not hinder him all of that much when his speed and power were good enough to beat anyone no named Klitschko. Those days are over, and there are all kinds of contenders and propsects who would have a very good chance of beating him.

    Imo.

I think Haye is underestimating how long it will be before Joshua starts taking real fights.

I read on Sky Sports today that Eddie is considering AJ vs Hughie Fury because, wait for it ... Hughie is in the IBF top 15 :yep

He then goes on to say how Hughie's drug hearing in November will 'affect' things.

I thought 2017 would be the year for AJ's first real fight. Now I'm thinking 2018. I seriously think they can drag it on that long with their buddies at the IBF. And Haye won't be his first real fight. I think Hayemaker should start checking his calendar for November 2018 when he 'might' get the call.

Hughie Fury is a better opponent than David Haye though.

Haye hasn't done anything since 2012 when he fought Chisora.
There's no evidence that Haye represents a "real fight" for any proper top heavyweight in 2016.

By real fight I mean against someone with more than say 5% chance of winning.
