    Hayes power is so underrated

    yeah Ruiz was 38

but so what, Lennox was past it at 38 when he ****ed a much younger Vitalis Face Up. Fact is not many will Stop Ruiz and Haye did.

Ruiz was in great shape too and faced many many top contenders

 Ruiz was past prime for years and proved that he was shot by then. Had one fight in 2 years. I guess you think Calzaghe beat a prime Jones Jr. too. :rofl

Rjj was out of his prime,

but Ruiz was known for his Chin, Jones was not.

Ruiz faced Chagaev and Valuev a littler earlier and they didnt stop him,

In fact Ruiz stood toe to toe with Valuev a lot of the time

Valuev has a fair amount of KO's 34

but Ruiz stood up close with the giant a lot of the time

Holyfield used a lot of movement when facing Valuev

to stop some semi retiered guy who got annihilated within few seconds before on towel after a million rabbitpunches is one true hell of an achievement

True. Ruiz has way more balls than Haye.

He also was closer to knock Valuev down:

Not only that, but Haye is the only one who fought a 38yo John Ruiz. Wow!

Ruiz was ready to go from the first round on but Haye just failed in embarrassing fashion to end the fight that was even worse than Wlads fail against Rahman was

Ruiz avoided big punchers for years, and adapted his extreme spoiler style after his 19 second KO loss to Tua.
The fact it took David 9 rounds, and a whole lot of rabbit punches to stop a forward coming, 38 year old Ruiz on his feet doesn't look good for him.

After the Ruiz bout I actually started to question his ability to compete with the top HW's, because he also took a lot of shots from a guy who hadn't won a major fight for 5½ years (!!!).
