You think you can go to another European country, raise hell and be safe from legal prosecution by simply traveling home to England?

He can be sentenced in Germany and the German court order can be domesticated in a British court. Then he'd serve the term in a British prision. Alternatively the German court can ask for him to be extradited to Germany if both countries have an extradition agreement.
