Problem is there's video footage this time around. This isn't some random bar fight. This is a media event with half a dozen videos taken.

Any prosecutor - British or German - will salivate at bringing this to court to get themselves an easy win to add to their CV.

Not if the pub had CCTV,or witnesse's stepped forward and gave statements.Security staff are also required to involve the police in such circumstance's,they choose not to in order to protect the licensee.
Haye has no mitigation,he had the option to leave the scene but chose to punch/bottle Chisora,he then lifted a tripod to whack somebody else.
The bottle is a weapon,as is the tripod, and if the police/courts choose to push it,then the fists of a professional boxer would also be considered weapons, the charge is then section 18 regardless of whether injuries were caused or not as the intent was there.
Drunken twats staggering down the road and making threats after being slapped by somebody ,is nothing like a professional fighter and convicted wife beater threatening to shoot/burn somebody.

That threat ain't a serious offence, not in Germany and I doubt it is even in ENgland.
How many times do you hear that the police were called to a house where the husband had threatened a wife but don't do anything to the one who threatened, not even a verbal warning.Too many reports of murdered people have had police being called to their houses.
On the other hand Haye's attacks on Team Chisora are really serious and they will give him at least 6 months of having his ass torn by a bunch of Neo Nazis in prison

You can be arrested for threatening to shoot somebody? How come all these rappers aren't in jail then?

You don't know **** about British law. If a guy threatens to slap you when everyone has already seen him slap someone else and spit in his brothers face, then advances toward you in an aggressive manner, then you can defend yourself by attacking first. Steven Gerrard got away with far worse with no proof of provocation. Haye wouldn't even see the inside of a courtroom if all this had happened in the UK, no idea what German law is like though.

What hunt...holly ****, people getting their panties in a twist over what, a man standing up to a thug? The tripod thing was stupid though, David is a boxer, his fists should have been more than enough.

I'm sure the German police are just as corrupt as the German referees & judges.

That bitchass punk Haye will just pay them off.

I'm sure we can look forward to "All hat, no cattle" Haye interrupting many more press conferences, before he finally actually retires and leaves us for good.

    but one can hope ....
