Yep, Don thinks Chagaev is done for, thats why he's taking the risk with Meehan. Meehan hasn't beaten anyone out of note lately, not ONE legitimate opponent. King is hoping Meehan will pull it off and best believe he'll be fighting Haye.

King knows Hayes chances against Wladimir are remote to say the least, so he's matching up one of his big hitters, knowing Hayes chin is made of china porcelain.

Once again my friend you are 100% correct:good

Its sad how DK is still able to have so much control over the WBA.

Now you've moved the goalposts. Whether he was justified in pulling out of a fight with Haye is a different question, and i don't see a problem in him not wanting to wait and taking on Chagaev instead. However, i also don't see a problem with Haye requesting the delay for a combination of a back injury and Setanta going under, which meant he was losing out on his payday with the contract the Klits had given him. The FACTS (and you seem to be struggling with this) are that Haye and Wlad have both pulled out of fights with each other, as have Haye and Vitali (at different times). However, it seems that for the haters this is clear evidence that Haye is ducking the Klits, whilst the Klits get a completely free pass for their part in it. The fights will happen and they will be bigger now than they would have been last year, which will justify the actions of Haye in the long run.

how could Wlad and Haye both have pulled out of fights when there was only 1 fight? Haye called and said, "I need 10 weeks. I can't fight on the date we signed to fight." Thats called "pulling out of a fight."

When Wlad said no... thats not pulling out of a fight... there was no other fight scheduled 10 weeks later

Rather spurious reasoning there. I think we're done going back and forth, i've made my point.

    and your point is wrong:D

btw.. there was no guarantee that Haye would be ready in 10 weeks. Booths exact words were "Maybe 10 weeks, he (haye) will see another doctor next week"

In all logic it is not a fair fight. The Klitchko's are too big for him. They are superheavyweights and he is a heavyweight now. Too big an advantage for them as they have with everyone.

CHEF already addressed this, but the fact is that both Klitschkos offered Haye a fight. In both cases they, the Klitschkos, signed the contract and in both cases Haye found a way to not make the fight. Twist those facts all you want, but it is impossible for Wlad to have pulled out of a fight after Haye already pulled out.

Haye v Ruiz was reported as in the region of 800k. SBO only even report figures when they happen to be really good.

And Haye v Barrett was on Setanta, so wasn't PPV.

Can´t wait that Wlad will fight Haye! Great move from Wlad!

He has to fight Haye, not Vitali! Haye´s Wladimirs opponent!

    :happy:happy:happy:happy

The fight against Haye was set for 20the of june. Haye pulls out and 61.000 people could not wait of Mr. David Haye so The Champ choose to fight the No. 3 ranked WBA Champion Ruslan Chagaev for the Ring Magazine belt.

Valuev refuses to fight Chagaev IMO Chagaev is the WBA Champion.

Wlad won and the legitim Champion of the WBA is Wladimir.

in a fair world chagaev would have lost the wba title to wlad and haye would have to shine the klits shoes to get close to a shot at one of the belts.

That would be even worse because it was reported at only about 150,000 viewers then, as opposed to buys.

Haye will have to fight one if he wants to become champion.

Until then he is just another contender.
