Haye also offered to fight the Klits twice and they found excuses not to fight, 'I have to have my mandatory WAH WAH', 'The date is already set and people have bought tickets WAH WAH'. It's pretty ****ing simple stuff. There have been two occasions where Haye could have made the fight, once he got an injury (and Setanta went bust meaning with the shitty contracy he was offered he would not have earnt a penny from the fight) and the other time he took a fight which would earn him more money and an opportunity to pick up a belt that gives him more bargaining power with the Klits. There were another two occasions where it was in the Klits' hands to fight Haye, the first time Vitali backed out and fought a fat, **** cruiserweight because he wanted to keep his ABC belt, the second time Wlad refused to wait a while for a fight with Haye because he didn't want to change the fight date. Those are the facts. If you think Haye was ducking, that's your opinion, but based on the facts you could just as legitimately claim that the Klits are ducking him especially given the ridiculous contracts they offered him for the fight.

    You've got it wrong.

Haye had a contract, SIGNED BY VITALI, in front of him.
He ignored it and signed to fight Valuev instead.

How does that equal Vitali pulling out??

Well right now Haye's legacy at heavyweight is him beating Ruslan Chagaev's left overs. The same Chagaev that Wladimir thoroughly dominated after you suggest he ducked Haye in a fight Haye pulled out of. As for the "****" contract you're talking about, Haye still would have made seven figures. You act as if he was somehow entitled, something you Brits know well, a considerably larger purse than was being offered.

  4. Bollocks. I saw that interview. It had nothing to do with not needing the Klits. He was implying that if he hadn't fought either Klit within 2 years, then lets face it, it's never going to happen. So he will *obviously* be fighting someone else. Your headline is misleading.

Vitali pulling out was in a completely seperate occasion. Vitali fought Gomez instead.

Their probably scared that if they do watch it they might end up liking Haye. Of course that wouldn't fit with their agendas would it?

Haye still looks very shaky at a heavyweight.
they are weighing fighting fourteen fights in a row in Manchester with hometown refs vs Wlad or Vitali.

The problem is they might lose any fight so maybe its better to cash out now.

I think they will hold out until they can get a massive payday vs a Klit. Until that time I expect low risk defenses at home with Haye friendly refs.

Of course CHEF, doesn't it make sense that the top heavyweight on the planet, a man who earns more in one fight than Haye probably has in his entire career, a fighter who has his fights broadcast in 110 countries and can draw north of 50,000 people should bend to the will of someone who had, up to that point, only beat Tomasz Bonin and Monte Barrett at heavyweight?

**** me these Hayelords are dense, an amazing example of jingoism run wild.

Not really a 'contract' if only one person has signed it...

If Vitali signed a legally binding document, and faxed it to Haye only to have Haye not sign it means that Haye had no intention of fighting Vitali.
