Haye to delay retirement for 6 months

after seeing how good and fast vitali looked last night i wouldnt be surprised if haye brought his retirement forward 6 months

 

The one thing I would say is that Haye is more slippery and heavier handed than Adamek, but with Haye being so reluctant to throw punches (even against a journeyman like Harrison) it's kinda moot.

Wlad is obviously more cautious being relatively weak chinned, whereas Vitali would take Haye's best punch and just smile.

I'd said repeatedly that I'd give Haye a far better chance against Vitali than Wlad, but after the impressive showing last night I'm inclined to say he's no chance.

The first thing that he needs to do is grow a pair and come to fight, be willing to go out on his sheild, try and salvage a peanut of his credibility from any legacy he thinks he has...:yep

 

haye as zero chance and he knows it ,fool just wants another big pay day **** him.

 

Haye has no chance at all against Vitali, it would be in Hayes best interests to enjoy the millions he mugged from an unsuspecting public in the Haye V Harrison and Haye V Klitschko stinkers, and pursue other ambitions like acting.

 

Whoever put that statement from Haye together wants shooting. Comes across so self-important, pompous and completely out of touch. Even if he feels this way any pr worth its salt would at least make him seem likeable. It suggests everyone's been waiting, praying he'd reconsider his retirement.

 

It's called delusion.

Haye is under the impression that all he has to is keep taking and he will get another huge payday for running around the ring.

Casual fans have been burned by the Audley and Wlad farces and won't buy the PPV for third a sham.


The only saving grace for Haye is that people will believe Vitali will go out to absolutely murder Haye and buy the fight for that reason. Then again Haye, having seen last nights fight, might just retire on his birthday.

 

That's probably what he thinks though. The man does have a sizeable ego.

 

It's going to happen.

 

Vitali throws a lot of punches but now looks slow and inaccurate. Adamek was a heavybag in there last night, and wobbled every time he was hit solidly, which we all knew was going to happen.

He's also more cautious than people think - he doesn't like getting hit, which is why he never really opens up and wears his opponents down and stops them late. If he gets them early he does, but that's not fundamental to his game plan. I've seen Vitali whacked clean by big punchers on only two occasions and he was very clearly hurt and on unsteady legs after each of them. His defence is probably the biggest yet least noted key to his success, but that's been a bit leakier as he has slowed.

None of that is to say that Haye would really have much of a chance, but there's perhaps a possibility that he might find more joy than he did against the comparatively lightning quick Wladimir.

It's ****ing boring now, if you're going to fight on then get on with it. If not just **** off.

I'm just not sure if Haye realises how much he needs to revitalise his image in the UK. Think Klitschkos are fooled by it and expect the same PPV numbers as last time. Read something about Vitali talking about fight here as if could still fill a stadium.
