Dimitrenkov was outboxed by Krasniki for the first 3 rounds.

I would like Haye to take on winner Thompson-Toney with that fight being an eliminator.

Reading some of these post is a total waste of time. When I read them it saddens me to the point of wanting to never post here again. I think that some of you have no life, no brains, no sense. Wasn't Haye higher rated in Vitali's division? Vitali wants to retire he may as well have a big payday. This way Haye gets to fight both of them by the time he is 32. Right now he has a better chance against vitali, vlads defensive style would be to difficult for him.

Vitali's defence is better than Wlad's. Wlad is easier to get to. If you are agressive against him, he will not react as well or as quickly.

Of course its stupid to try to counter Wlad or out-potshot him, but take the fight to him and you may just land a good one.

Vitali is a better counterpuncher than Wlad, has better ring movement, and is better at slipping punches.

Absolutly right. Wlad had a much better defensive style than Vitali, he can outbox Haye for 12 rounds if he wants to.

Vitali slowed down. Haye had a better chance against Vitali and if Haye wins Wlad could unify.

people who don't like Wlad always focus on the chin and ignore his mobility, defense, height, reach, speed and jab........

yes it's fragile and no you're not going to get to it.

Wladimir has to fight both Povetkin and Dimitrenko at some point this year or lose either the IBF or WBO belt. Povetkin is a very proven fighter at heavy and certainly a sterner test than Haye until proven otherwise. Dimitrenko, while not a massive puncher, is a 6'8" 255 pound heavy with 83" reach and a decent punch.

That's how it seemed to look, but there seems to have been a bit of a fudge with that one...Povetkin is being allowed to hold onto his #1 contender spot, and there's some confusion over whether that means he's going to get his shot as soon as he's deemed fit and ready to go, or whether he's really going to have to wait up to a year longer due to an injury that should only see him need about a month or two to recover from.

Not really sure quite what's going on there.

Next one up for Valuev is meant to be Kali Meehan...Kali's pretty pissed off with this Holyfield situation as you might expect. On the other hand, Kali should probably be grateful he's somehow the #1 contender...

July 09 with Dimitrenko, September 09 with Povetkin, he has only been given 9 months to defend that title.

He should fight Virchis. Has failed against the two 'Elite' HW's he has faced (Valuev and Gomez) but has never been stopped.

Has a high KO % so no doubt the fight would stir up interest.

Still, I'd go for Haye by K.O before five. Virchis is tough but he's never been hit as hard as Haye would hit him.

My point was not that he could beat either one of them. However Vitali will mix it up with you, Vlad will not. You have to box him. he cannot out box Vlad
