    Share a card...
Put The Haye/Valuev rematch and Wald/Povetkin on the same bill. It would be a nice prelude to Wlad vs Haye. With all those names the US TV might actually pick it up.
Of course that makes to much sense, and the egos are too big as to who would be on the top billing (though logic would dictate Wlad get top billing as he has more tenor as a belt holder)

I don't see why Povetkin would have taken the fight before, back in December of 08, only to balk at the fight now in 2010.

I agree with you. Its just what I heard the IBF talking about at a dinner we had the night before the Wlad/chambers fight

This makes sense when you have 'second tier stars'. Wlad does not need to split a card with Haye. You do make a good point that it 'might' make sense if it means some US interest. HBO has been pretty stupid of late though.

I know what Atlas is doing now, but I believe the injury in 08. Povetkin fought some really solid competition on the way up, he just doesn't seem one to shirk from a challenge. Teddy, on the other hand, hates the Klitschkos and his ego probably won't allow him to see his fighter lose to them.

I agree. I think Povetkin himself thought he was ready then after the injury they brought in atlas and all hell broke loose:thumbsup
