Than you are an absolute twat and an idiot. Every performer owes his fans. Only morons like you believe that they don't. I would never attend a fight where I knew the fighter had deliberately taken the easiest opponent he could find. It'd be like buying Elton John tickets when Elton had laryngitis. But that's the difference between great performers and average ones. Great performers care about their fans. They have a standard of excellence that they do their best to live up to each and every night.

And don't give me that **** about boxing being dangerous. It's a form of entertainment, that's it...Its participants are well compensated for what they do.

No WAY does he retire at 30, or 31. No chance in HELL does he let the money, spotlight, attention all go, just like that.

He seems to be an ego driven guy, so I venture to say he'll be around for a long time. He may retire when he's 38, but he'll miss it too much and come back...........

That is usually the case 99 times out of 100. I think he may surprise us. Maybe not at 31, but I doubt he once to be in more than one potentially punishing fight after he disposes of Audley.

I've lost count of the number of boxers I've heard say that they'll retire by a certain age and then not do it. Sometimes they do it (rarely) but I won't believe Haye until he does it.

Most of them are not nearly as calculating as Haye.

I know it is rare but it does happen. Calzaghe shocked me by keeping to his word.

Haye is already in self-imposed semi-retirement......

Most of them are not as cowardly as Haye, either.

I assumed he was already retired by his activity.

And not even then, cause you know he'll come back even if he were to make the big retirement announcement.

    So transparent and predictable.
