This is the problem with pacfans and boxingfans in todays world.. it takes little to no effort to be an ATG...Just so sad
you have to be kidding me :huh? You know what happened to Holmes when he said that right? Even Ali knows he wouldn't do that, whom is probably, the greatest H2H fighter ever. On his best night, I think he would beat any heavyweight ever, given a FEW exceptions, and I'm not even sure about those. David haye would NOT take Marciano's punches, if marciano ever connects with his suzie q he's dead
If he did that he'd be probably around 15 for me. As has been said before 6 fights at the weight just isn't enough to knock some of the other guys down the pecking order.
Haye's a top hw right now and I like him for his power and excitement, but hes garbage in the big picture of hw history. I'm not so sure he'd even beat somebody like Zeljko Mavrovic. 90s contenders such as Mercer would put him to sleep.
Bowe, ironically, reminds me a little bit of Wlad only in the sense that he, too, possessed all of the tools necessary to secure a legacy far greater than what he achieved. Now, I am not suggesting that he suffered from the same mandible issues that currently plague Wlad. Rather, I am simply suggesting that his tools exceeded his career accomplisments. Does that make sense? Had Wlad avenged his losses to Sanders and Purity, two fighters who had no business defeating him, and defeated Lennox, than I would rank him without hesitation in the top 10. As for Liston, I have never been super-high on him. Though tough and durable to be sure, Liston never possessed the tools, in my opinion, that Wlad enjoys.
