Watch all of the Haye detractors come in and give all the credit to Valuev for that.

will be intersting to see weather it was just a 'freak-show' effect or not...

Either way, Haye has been very clever here - easier fight than the klits, gets a belt + and the circus act garners WAY more attention from the casual sports fan...

Excuse me, but these figures are largely due to the drawing power of Nicolai "the Pretty Boy" Valuev. :deal

Great news for the heavyweight division.

Haye brings excitement, no one can deny that.

Valuev does not have a following like that, Haye does, so there is no way that they can aruge that Valuev carried the PPV, especially if most of the numbers were from the UK....

Refer to Axe's post. It doesn't matter if what they are seeing makes sense or even if they truly believe it, they will say anything to discredit the man.

That was pretty much all Haye fans, at least 5 to 1 in my opinion. (BTW im going by all buys not just Sky PPV)

Valuev used to be more popular than Haye tho, cause when he was getting up to the title shot, he was pretty much a freak show. Then he got milked out and after the German / Swiss gifts he pretty much became only a Russian favorite being as the Swiss / Germans wanted no part of him.
