probably because the MEN holds over 20k and have a track record of holding big fights and people can walk back into town in 5 minutes from the venue

Haye also has a issue with O2 arena over something that maybe someone may be able to tell us about.

 

The 02 Arena is the only venue in London which isn't a football stadium that holds 20k+ so its the biggest available arena.

Hopefully your right Slap and fans realise its bull****. Pretty sure Ruiz was fully sold out after a few weeks.

 

No, but its in an area thats full of decent bars, clubs and restaurants.

 

I doubt its still an issue but Haye tickets sales for the Barrett fight were poor. He was originally set to have 4 fights there.

 

maybe the Barret fight when they had to give tickets away on the cheap? I've been to big fights in both the O2 and the MEN and the Manchester venue is far better.

Maybe it's that lads but i remember it being mentioned also the Star Wars thing when they had it down for the Ruiz fight...maybe they just thought stay in Manchester.

 

The Printworks which is one of the top night hang outs places is probably a 90 second walk from the M.E.N, the rest of the town all within 5/10 mins walk.
