available, cost-effective and well established as a fight venue. Do you know how much the O2 costs? Crazy money...

I run David Haye's Facebook 'fan' page, and there are actually more fans on the page from Manchester than there are from London according to the stats.

I run Audley Harrisons mySpace Bebo Interweb blog thing and most of his fans are from the Isle of Wight according to my research.

That does seem strange but maybe London just isn't as interested in boxing as up North.

It could also be with Londoner's that you can't bull**** a bullshiter.

It would have sold equally well at either, it's a massive UK fight.

One wasn't chosen over the other because of anything to do with the people in the surrounding areas/whether people are likely to attend, they were chosen because of the vacancy on the particular night at the venue and the deal the venue was willing to offer

and FYI, it has practically sold out, only the expensive tickets are left.

Haye and Harrison are national figures not local fighters. Doesn't really make that much difference if it's London or Manchester.

Further up the thread there is a link to Ticketmaster where you can buy the £136 and £190 which are the mid range ticket prices. These prices may seem steep but that is what they are asking for. These tickers are in the lower tier but are not floor seats.
