Does anyone know what time this will finish (say it goes to 12 rounds). I know doors open at 5 so presume first fight will be around half 5.

I'm a bit curious as the last fight i went to (de Gale v groves) finished real late and i know the last train from Upton Park into london is around midnight. Upton park is a pig of a station if you want to get back into london with regards to queues so would jsut like some reassurance that it should finish in plenty of time. If not, cab to Kings Cross it is

I'd book a minicab at about 1 or something, can always go to a nearby pub for a swift half if you get out early.

 First fight at half 5, Is there even anyone on the undercard so far?..

When i went to Mitchell-Katsidis that finished up around 11 IIRC. I think the lack of undercard action means this will be on around same time. As you say stations not the best and got cramped when the stampede left stadium and got to platform.

Remember that this is on Epix in the States so it's not going to finish that early. My guess would be about midnight because of licensing.

Try this, don;t worry if you miss the last tube, there is a nightbus that goes along the Barking Road that runs every 20 minutes or so, that goes into Central London, probably takes 40 minutes or so once you're on it, as for a cab to Kings Cross, that'll be around the £30-£40 mark, so split four ways it isn;t bad at all.

the only thing with a nightbus is that i have to catch my last train from kings cross at 1am. Looked it up and a cab to my house from the stadium is only £25 (A406) so that will probably be the way to go if we miss last train

Is there anywhere decent to go for a drink before/after around Upton Park?

The Denmark is open, and it's a hit hole still. But if you want to see some real characters go in there

2 of us are booked into the Ramada docklonds hotel & planning to head into Stratford for an all day session, gradually making our way to Upton park from there. If we can still face a pint after all that then I don't imagine we'll be stumbling too far away from Barking Rd.
