According to some new Peter Fury quotes "this fight is not postponed, it's permanently off, this has left a bad taste and we are moving on".

Expected to hear this as there is no way the fight can be re-scheduled untill next year and even then it's not a definate so better to scrap it altogether.

Sky will be super pissed and it's almost certain they'll finally wipe their hands of Haye for good.

Won't really hurt Haye too much though as pretty sure the Haye-Vitali Klitschko fight will be announced by end of the year and probably be shown on BOXNATION.

Said this in another thread, but:

Isn't it pretty much EXACTLY where Ward got cut before the initial date for the S6 Final..? He was wearing a head guard at the time, and no one said anything about him doing it deliberately, or questioning his sparring so close to the fight...

Absolute pricks on here questioning why he is sparring at this stage and suggesting Haye is ducking Fury.

You people know nothing, absolutely nothing about boxing.

Yeah he was, a combination of the Audley fight followed by his poor performance against Wladimir Klitschko made Sky put a hold on SBO fights.

It will be interesting to see what the fallout is from all this.

Reckon Team Fury are already talking to Channel 5 about a date for the end of 2013 to get Tyson back in the ring as soon as possible.

Do you not think its stupid to risk the massive payday Haye would have recieved sparring 7 DAYS before a fight of this magnitude - especially after cancelling his last fight?

Im pretty sure Haye would have KO'd Fury easily early on in the fight anyway

Nothing to do with Boxing its poor business sense - and i thought Hayemaker was all about the business!

If it's legit, **** happens and it's his business when and who he spars.

If he's pulling a fast one for business reasons, well this is boxing, and he's managing himself, and sometimes hard decisions have to be made. Promoters do it all the time. He needs to look out for his family and his future, not please fans.

We're all pissed off but he hasn't exactly ruined anyone's life, has he? Get over it already.
