A lack of punch power and being easy to hit doers not bode well for a heavyweight boxer. I actually really hope he improves in these areas, as he dose seem to have something going for him...
Good post. At the end of the day, Fury is young & green, but hes a lionheart. When someone puts him on ***** street? He bites down on the gumshield & comes through it. People slag his build off, but Frank Bruno was built like a greek god, but when he got hit clean on the chin? He fell apart. Fury is a boy at heavyweight, & its scary to think that he still has to grow into that huge frame of his. If Fury realises his huge potential, its going to be funny watching the englanders & the Irish argueing about whose property he is
Fury's the best fighter on the planet, not just at heavyweight. His promoter confirmed it the other night.
Mick Hennesy had such a hard on when he was bigging up Fury the other night, he was getting so exciting I wouldn't of been suprised if he had gotten on his knees and sucked Fury off right there and then Live on channel 5.
I like Hennesy saying that the Klitschko would love to take on Fury right now because he is green, and obviously by implication the K brothers will fear Fury when he becomes more experienced in a year or twos time. But I don't hear either K brother clamouring to get a "green" Fury in the ring with them right now. Sure Steward did toss in the winner of the Chisora/Fury bout could get a shot at Wlad......but I rather feel that was due more to the fact that Chisora was messed around a lot to accommodate the Haye fight, so Steward felt somewhat obliged to give the winner of Chisora/Fury a shot.
It was a good send Fury oldman got sent to prison becuase the amount of **** he used to talk was embrrassing and it made me and many others want fury to lose. Now I like him and want him to do well. Anyway Haye would destroy Fury, completely different levels.
Please tell me who haye has beaten that was any good, brilliant cruiser thats about it. Ruiz was ancient and dont even mention valuev!
Haye fought two top ten heavyweights in Valuev and W. Klitschko (it's debatable wether Valuev was top 10) and didn't even manage a knock down. He's hardly the Foreman/Tyson love child some on this forum would have you believe.
Another debate for another time. But still Haye would KO1 fury no doubt. Especially the way Fury turns his head side ways when under attack creating the perfect target for a big shot to land flush on the chin. Ive got a feeling if he doesn't nip that in the bud soon, it's gona get him sparked.
It wouldn't be dissimilar to the Harrison farce. See Chisora turning it on in short bursts. When Haye decides to go for the kill it's over.
