    Hey y'all,
I'm writing an article for The Ring about boxing in 3D. The line from SkySports is it is the best sport in 3D, which I agree with. Tennis, Golf and Darts are good too, but lack the action of the sweet science. Field sports are not so good due to the distance and high viewing angles of cameras.

I thought Haye v Harrison card looked amazing in 3D often like you were standing on the apron. 3D has boosted revenues for the film industry, anything that gives boxing a little helping hand or exposure is good in my eyes.

Anyone have any thoughts/comments, especially those who have watched 3D boxing?

Please nothing on how poor Audley was etc...

I am very glad I did not bother with a 3d set up. That fight should have been banned in 3d.

Terrible fight but the 3-D is an exciting development for me.

Boxing is a totally different experience when you see it live and up-close.Ordinary 2-D television sanitizes the sport. The public can't appreciate how hard these fighters hit or get the visceral impact of the punches.

If 3D broadcasts can recreate some of that feel, then I see the sport of boxing,in particular, gaining from this technology.

I'm surprised people here aren't expressing their opinions this.

This sort of technology could make even a cautious defensive-minded fight exciting and potentially turn the tide of popularity away from MMA.

ive seen darts in 3d and it is wicked man, especially when they show you the camera on the board shot with the dart coming straight at you!

mma has ruined boxing to an extent.........

if i want to see two idiots roll about on the floor like girls, ill go down the local boozer on a friday and see two pissheads go at it.

boxing is an art, i have no love for any mma.
