My life hasn't and won't change but I come on a forum to be vocal. You are doing the exact same thing. Nevertheless, the people must be heard. The people have always been powerful, hell they overthrow dictatorships when they want.

Haye followed through with what he said. It's not like people blindly following a joke, for example Fraudley. It's only recently that we've found out Haye has a vagina at heavyweight.

It's 8 or 9 weeks out now. If the undercard was going to be top quality then it would be done by now because any professional promotion would give the fighters a decent amount of notice. They may want to start the hype on the main event and then tell everyone the undercard but I doubt it.

I thought it was badly (and I mean badly) lacking in the "chief support" slot. IMHO a World HW title fight should have something along the lines of a WBC/WBA/IBF world title fight as a chief support.

Groves fighting an African for the Commonwealth title and Olusegun-Lynes arn't exactly poor fights but are some way short of being the main supports for a HW title fight.

Maybe Haye is in talks to get Rhodes a WBO title shot or something? That would be good enough for me.

From a business perspective, how many people would actually buy the PPV or attend the event because of the chief support?

    Not very many I'd suggest.

The way Sky pump the **** out of the headliner, everything else pails into insignificence.

I'm with you, I'd love a good undercard, but to answer the initial question, I wouldn't wait til the undercard is announced, you'll be dissappointed.

That said, Groves vs Quigley would be ok.

Then again you could say that a heavyweight title fight is so big anyway that it doesn't need a massive support fight.

Showtime did a study and a overwhelming percentage of people buy PPVs for the one the fight, the main event so I understand the reasoning.

I'd hope a (say) WBA feather title fights between a couple of world class, if lesser known, boxers wouldn't to expensive for the promoter or be too much to ask to keep the boxing fans happy but obviously it is!!!

It didn't ****ing get it either did it?;)

Look though the cards that were headlined by HW title fights, that card had poor chief supports when compared with the (vast?) majority of them.

Yep, that would be a great option. IIRC he was rumoured to be on the Ruiz card but it fell though.

When was this? Undercards have been weak across all PPVs for at least 5 years when there's a headline grabbing main event.
