Haye via a brutal and destructive KO8. Macca is an over-hyped C Class fighter, who will be brutally exposed again but this time in the most devastating fashion. I am really looking forward to seeing Macca carried out of the ring on a stretcher.
I think Macca will win this one, I think Haye will be beating him on points but Macca will hit him with a sledge-hammer or a right-hand, and KO him, Haye will be knocked into next year... (Even though the fight takes place next year)
I think Haye will come out faster and take the first round as Enzo cautiously navigates the opening three minutes. Round two - Enzo starts to box a little more and has his successes, but nothing really significant. Two of the three judges score the round for Enzo, the other has it shared. Round three and again Haye comes out fast, he lands a big hook after a minute, but - to everyone's surprise - Enzo takes it well and throws a bomb that whistles past Haye's ear. They go toe-to-toe for the first time in the fight, with Haye coming off better. The bell goes and words are exchanged as they both make their way back to their corners. Round four - Haye sets straight to work and Enzo's under real pressure, but out of the blue Enzo lands an upper cut that staggers Haye and has the Welsh crowd erupt. Enzo follows up and now it's Haye under pressure, he's trying to survive, but his legs just aren't there, then Enzo lands another crunching punch, this time a hook. Haye goes down and tries to get straight back up, his legs are like jelly, this could be all over! He takes to one knee and attempts to rise again, this time more successfully. Enzo sets straight to work again, but walks right on to a straight right. Enzo falls backwards with only the ropes holding him up as the bell sounds - sensational stuff!. Round five and Haye seems the more intent, he goes after Enzo and is finding the target, the ref pulls him off and warns him for a low blow - bollocks! That was never low! This ref has been paid off! Enzo is given some time to get himself together, but hold on he's been cut! One of those punches has opened up a cut above Enzo's left eye - things seem to be going from bad to worse for the Welshman (with an Italian name). Enzo tries to work behind his jab, but you get the impression that it's only a matter of time before David lands another powder keg punch. He does and Enzo falls like Del boy in the bar with the Trigger (classic Fools and Horses scene - do you remember that one?) anyway, somehow he manages to get to his feet, this is miraculous! If there's one thing you can't question about Enzo Maccarinelli now, it's his heart. He may just be walking in to more punishment though, he's looking very much worse for wear. Haye looks to finish this now, but he gets caught and his knees twitch slightly, he doesn't want to get to careless now Duke, Enzo's dangerous for every minute he's in the ring. The bell goes to end whichever round this is. Round...err...six and after just fifteen seconds Haye lands a devastating left to the body followed by an equally hurtful right upstairs, Enzo goes down and the ref counts him out. That's what I think will happen, anyone have a different opinion?
I think Haye will win but wouldn't be at all suprised if he gets KO'd by Macca. Has the makings of a great but short fight.
