Making people miss in the pocket is a huge talent. Nimbleness and agility is a good way of putting. Another is elusiveness. Maybe it was just a stylistic reason behind Patterson not having to appear as nimble, or maybe his nimbleness is there but to subtle for a heathen like me. Elusiveness just isn't something I associate with Floyd yet it is somehing I associate with Haye. Bravery can be a downfall as much as an advantage. In fact bravery against a counter puncher like Haye is putting yourself at a disadvantage imo. He ensure safety yes. I think he believed he only needed one punch and he threw away the fight searching for it. Well Haye's issues with injuries didn't really become an issue until he could afford to start skipping fights. When he didnt neeed to risk fighting injured. So i think his body gets him to a vacant title shot. One he wins and i don't see him losing until Liston. I also don't think he'd come back as well as Patterson did but i don't think that would matter in the big scheme. Always a pleasure mate.
