Lol! Usyk schools Haye. Probably does his thing late and stops him too. Usyk likes to take some rounds to figure everything out on his opponents and then pours it on mid to late. Haye would be getting tagged with that slick left hand all night. And he doesn’t have the chin to keep eating those.

I always felt like Haye was a little underrated around these parts…but as much as I liked him I don’t think he would fare well in this match. Usyk wide decision 9-3ish

In this case, their fights with Tony Bellew would be a great parameter; what would happen in this fight.

was anyone else 'underwhelmed' by the Usyk vs Dubios fight...

I'm sorry but neither the two looked anything beyond 'just another' fighter(s).

Not really Haye ruptured his Achilles and was finished as a fighter vs Bellew.

Not a fair comparison at all.

And people thinking Usyk wins this easily vs a prime Haye are overrating Usyk.

    I agree.
I think Usyk would find a way to win and I think Haye would have very hard time dealing with the pace late, but for first 6-8 rounds - it would be great contest and I could very well see Haye building up a lead.

Haye was a great athlethe, fast and powerful, good body puncher - so there would be a lot there to make it complicated for Oleksandr. Problem for Haye is that He wasn't that great under pressure unless He managed to hurt his opponent - like He did with Frago, Mormeck and Chisora - and with all Usyk's chin it's unlikely Haye would be able to hurt him to the point where He'd let off with the pressure, so He'd probably fall off late and get stopped.

Usyk is a heavy favorite. But there was a brief time in Haye’s career at cruiser when this might have been competitive

Usky should be a strong favorite.

Hayes power would still be a factor of course.

I see Usyk stopping Haye in the 10th or 11th. First few rounds are pretty even

Usyk stops Haye late for me in a one sided fight. I think Haye would be dangerous early on, but as soon as it gets past round 5 I think Usyk starts to put the hurt on him and breaks him down.
