Thats some good numbers for a heavyweight fight. Is those numbers just in the UK. As over here in Ireland I would say that it done some good numbers to add on top of that. See there is no better man to promote a fight than Haye. I cant wait to see what he comes up with for his next fight on the promotional side of things.

apparently the correct number is 800,000. Which is pretty awesome.

Yes it is. I'm very surprised as I wasn't even expecting 200,000 buys. I would love to know what Warren thinks about Haye getting 800,000 for his title fight while Khan got around 30,000.

Well, there was 6 of us watching it on one TV that night, plus all the people watching it in pubs. The fight must have a great viewing figures.

    800,000 x £5 = £4mil, and i imagine he got a bit more elsewhere.

Colin Hart in the sun reckons it was closer to 400k

    http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...mnists/2725370/This-fight-was-a-travesty.html

however, being the fight was at 10.00 so many people would have seen this in pubs and got freinds and family over to watch it. i went to one club/pub and couldn't get in as it was full, so went down the road to another and watched it there, there was atleast 2 more places where i could have seen it aswell

Who gives a **** what he thinks. "The Voice of Boxing", who gave him that title?

I'm also totally pissed 0ff with the Sun this week after them using that poor woman who lost her son, just to try to embarass the PM

It has to be big from the feedback I've been getting on the street. Even non-boxing fans clocked it.

    'no exaggeration'?

Methinks Mr Hart could do with apprising himself of the very definition of the word.

Otherwise, I fully expect him to objectively evaluate every HW champion in the last 120 years and justify his assertion!

Colin Hart should be put in the same pile as Jim Watt. The "experts" we could do without pile..
