Look, if you can't tell the difference between what Haye did and backfoot boxing I can't help you. Well actually I can, go and watch Khan V Kotelnik.

Haye 100% won the fight and won it clean. End of story.

Thats true. People get 'running' and boxing on the back foot confused. They compare Haye's terrible spectacle against Valuev to stuff Ali did. Haye was just running.

I was thinking that.... but the answer is that he can. He has quicker feet than anyone in the division so why not use it to your advantage.

Haye won that fight clearly. It wasn't a great fight to watch (only fight of his career that wasn't) but stayed out of range against a guy that had a 7st weight advantage and landed more clean punches.... that's boxing.

What do some of these ******s think Haye should have done? stay up close and be leant on all night and close enough that even Valuev's slow arse hands could catch him more regularly? I really don't get the logic of some of these so called fight fans sometimes

    Agreed.

Had Haye not moved around the ring in the way that he did, this fight would have been a hell of a lot more boring with Valuev getting the decision due to excessive leaning.

At times when the weight and height difference is as large as this was, any fighter not using a similar tactic is a fool.

That is the name of the game - Hit and don't get hit.

    Won the fight clearly...?

Floyd Mayweather vs Shane Mosley..........Floyd Mayweather won that fight clearly.

David Haye ran against Valuev mate, accept the truth.

David Haye ran for 12 rounds straight, and threw 10-12 punches a round. Thats not enough in any town, city, state to win any world title fight clearly.

David Haye did not perform prolifically enough, to recieve that kind of credit.

    David Haye ran.

Why is David Haye running at Heavyweight...?

Why is David Haye running at heavyweight...? thats all i want to know.

I might download that phone ap, so i can personally speak to David Haye and ask him.

Why is David Haye running at heavyweight..?

For a guy he speaks of himself alongside Nigel Benn, then runs more miles than Paula Radcliffe does in a weeks worth of trainning, in a 12 round fight.

I just want to know for my own sake.

There seem to be special rules for David Haye, Floyd Mayweather has never been a runner in the whole of his career. Floyd Mayweather can fight in any style, inside on the outside, off the back foot.........whatever.

People here are saying, that David Haye performed great off the back foot against Valuev.

    No he did'nt...

Performed great compared to what, what are you measuring his performance up against, and who. Sugar Ray Leonard, Floyd Mayweather....?

Because them guys performed great off the back foot, when they needed to and beat guys down, and sparked them out. And people have the cheek to call Floyd Mayweather a runner......

    When there is Hayerunner.

David Haye ran and Valuev, he did'nt clearly win the fight. I'm not saying he did'nt win, because i do think David Haye won...........JUST.

But people need to keep it real.

David Haye ran for 12 rounds, looks scared at times and threw 10-12 punches a round.

    Keep it real...!!!
