I suppose it all depends on the obvious really. Could Haye avoid the bomb? If he could he would either KO Wilder at whatever point, or win a points decision, not that Haye's output was particularly prolific, but it was greater than Wilders.
You mean he refused to engage or let his hands go and lost a lopsided decision. You can't beat wilder by simply avoiding him. He will win on aggression of you don't land anything.
