obviously im in the uk so as you would expect the hype has been massive here, lead by sky tv but with other media outlets giving it far more air time & column inches than we usually get. i just wondered outside the uk how big is the hype surrounding the fight?
I have heard almost nothing about it, but they are broadcasting it live on a Dutch tv station which is extremely rare.
virtually ZERO... I'm from the same country as cesare by the way. The live broadcast is indeed very, very rare. :yep
Here in the midwest I have seen NOTHING about this fight on tv, on the radio, NOTHING. Absolutely pathetic the way americans forget about boxing when there is no crooked ass dopeboy challenging for a title.
we have hype(nothing crazy). and chanels show the fight. boxing still has ground to gain in europe. dont know about down under, havent been there in half a year
Midwest states are getting nothing as far as additional coverage. Does this mean we need change? Regardless, something needs to change as far as promotion and advertising when this is hands-down the best heavyweight fight to come around in eight years...ohh right and it's for recognition as the world heavyweight champion of the world. That used to have a little prestige. 4cornersboxing.tumblr.com
Do you know whatw as the last big fight that was broadcasted live here? I think it has to be something with tyson.
