come on Dave, Haye damaged his hand in the 2nd round against Valuev. Credit should be given for his accomplishments within the cruiserweight division and was explosive throughout, yes he may have had a few scares here and there...but who hasnt. He has yet to set the HW division alight but who has, Klistchko has been efficient but fails to excite. Shimmy - I agree that if he doesnt get inside, then it could be a disaster for Haye but feel he is quick enough to do so...
I'll wait until the fight gets closer to make my round prediction, but I definitely feel that Wladimir will win by KO. I figure it will end somewhere between the 5th and 9th rounds. I could see Haye winning this fight by KO as well and that is one of the reasons this fight is spectacular. WLADIMIR by KO!!!!
I don't think Haye goes past 3 rounds.I only give him the proverbial punchers chance. The fight ends the moment Wlad lands any kind of decent shot or shots on Haye.
Come on man! Get Real if anyone getting Sparked out early it is Wlad. Haye is Very dangerous guy early rounds because he is such a explosive and fast:deal I am afraid Wlad start to paw with this jab then Haye unleash the hell.. Hope i am wrong about that.:yep He was pretty dangerous guy even late rounds against Valuev but Valuev is such a sad story it does not mean much in this case.. haye is also pretty hard to hit at early him being pretty elusive mover. If Fights go over 4-5 rounds I would comfortably say the Fight is in Wlad's bag Wlad winning it by KO.
i think that haye will win inside 5 rounds, after vlad gets put down 3 or 4 times. i think people are gonna be really shocked by how easily haye wins this fight.
Then Haye is better than I thought if that happened you said. I honestly think Haye is very dangerous guy especially at early but If Wlad just keeps his composure and doesnt start to paw with his Jab Haye is all yours for him.
It's so funny how people act like Haye is some novice boxer who only gets wins with a lucky punch and Wlad is some Terminator type wrecking machine of boxing. Let's not forget that Haye unified his original division by the time he was like 27 and then moved on to bigger things. Wlad has defended the belts he has like 10-15(?) times and never became the undisputed champ. He should have attained at least some version of the wbc and wba belts a long time ago.
I really can't see Haye being effective in any capacity in this fight. Wlad will control this and take Haye out early IMO. I hope I am wrong but I don't think it will take much for my fellow Brit to go down and stay down. He'll pick up his cheque with minimal damage and head off into retirement.
That's exactly the way i see it.It's true that Wlad fights cautious but i don't think he has to come out firing to stop Haye early.I think he puts Haye down even with mistimed punches,he's too big and powerful for Haye, who definitely has dodgy whiskers.
Wlad by boring decision. Oh yeah, both men have great power and shaky chins - usually that should spell a KO, but these guys will both play it safe and not take any risks. Haye will run and try to pot-shot, he will not try to get too close to Wlad and unleash some combinations. He could do it, but he won't do it - he won't take any risk. Wlad will fully concentrate on his jab and try to keep Haye at a distance. He will not go for the kill in the later rounds. There will not be a KO.
Wlad by KO/TKO. Specifically, Haye quits on his stool after releasing multiple stools in his shorts after a couple flush right hands.
