I think we, the boxing fans, are winning.

Better than Haye-Vitali and Arreola-shot guy

    What do you think?

Arreola is taking a big risk but if he wins he will be an overnight superstar in the US. Of course he might be taking permanent damage if Vitali beats him up and humiliates him in front of his home crowd. Arreola has real potential and might have needed a bit more time.

However, I am happy about the matchup after Vitali - Haye fell through. Arreola is a stronger, way more experienced heavyweight. Arreola would punch Haye through the ropes.

I agree with you 100% :thumbsup

+Think about that If Haye manages to win then Boxing and Boxing Fans gets a Real Lottery Win = Mega Fight against Wladimir Klitschko, Wlad finally coul shut all the loud mouths of Brits and Cement His Legacy too.

You make a good point with the thread topic. We got some high profile heavyweight fights, both of which will likely be more entertaining than Wlad and Vitali's last defenses and things are setting up nicely for fights down the line.

Yeah, I think the boxing fans, especially those who are not overly emotionally invested in a particular fighter, are coming out ahead.

Shot as Valuev is, its a very real possibility.

Avid Haye was an exellent and exciting crusier, but not a dominant one. He had his struggles. He has done nothing yet to indicate that he is a heavyweight player.

IS his vaunted power going ot carry up? knocking out a guy who was Koed by Cliff Couser is no evidence.

Arreola will get destroyed by Vitali. I see it being similiar to the Peter fight.

I think Arreola will put up a better fight than Peter did.

Stylistically I wanted to see Wlad fight Haye.

We all wanted to see that fight.

I'm saying that, overall, its better to have Haye-Valuev AND Vitali-Arreola than
Haye-Vitali and Arreola-SHot guy (Maskaev for example)

Well the problem is this fight could be (I hope I am wrong) come too early for Arreola and permanently damage him. Think Michael Grant.

I am not excited about Valuev Haye until the anthems are being played. Getting excited about an announced fight with Haye tends to be a disappointing experience...
