Exactly, i dont understand why there bringing up these options they might have after what was on offer from the Klits. What is the problem with the Klits just having a simple rematch clause(1 rematch)? Its pathetic.

come on my friend. Haye is the one that wanted BOTH brothers

do you remember this statement from Haye?

"British heavyweight boxer David Haye could fight both Klitschko brothers as part of a sensational two-for-one contract being thrashed out by lawyers. Speaking to Setanta Sports News Haye admitted that the two-for-one contract was “being talked about”. He said:

“To be number one in the world, to be the undisputed champion, I feel I’ve got to beat both of them anyway. That’s not a problem. I want to fight both of them. It’s down to the lawyers now.”

Thats what they offered him along with a shot at 4 belts PLUS ring title all for fighting once at HW. Come on now:blood

Ruiz sucks and lost fair and square. He lost to Chag clearly and he lost a close fight to the Sasquatch.

Exactly, he got a better deal elsewhere, and VITLAY got all hissy about it. Haye should have aged 10 years and changed his name to Rahman, then VITLAY would have had another banana skin incident in training camp no doubt :yep

It doesn't really matter if the fight is for the title or not, let Haye fight Valuev, then Ruiz and then go and get rid of the brothers.

Haye is fighting Valuev, who is co-promoted by Don King. If you think that Don King is suddenly going to be factored out of the equation I don't know what to tell you.

He never said he wanted to fight both of them twice though, and I don't believe he said anything about them controlling his career should he win either :good:hi:

You're right but during a voluntary defence, the invited fighter MUST concede things if he wants the fight, such as rematches, etc... It's done in every category by practically all promotional firms. It's a normal process and the Klits are applying it to a voluntary defence for a guy that is getting a free pass to possibly become the best heavyweight on the planet !

I suspect it's not normal practise to make such terms when the voluntary defence is against a unified champion moving up in weight, though.....which is why Haye wasn't getting a 'free pass'.

The whole problem with that is that all the rematches and fighting the other brother would of been done under terms set out in the contract so basically he still gets a **** share of the purse even after beating them once or twice.

If Haye wins he should give a rematch and then any future fights against the other brother or another rematch with Wlad should be done with Haye dominating the terms as he would be the Heavyweight champ of the world.
