Well you have a point . Haye didnt even think about Derek till the comotion in Germany.

So Chef, will Vitali Haye happen in your opinion ?

I dont think Haye is talking in the media like he is, getting himself on TV shows, reality shows , papers for no reason. These guys (haye vitali) have probably spoken about it personally before anything officail happens in reality.

Well Chef, with all due respect, Vitali wasnt all that willing too give Lewis the luxury of deciding if he was done or not. Vitali wasnt all that willing to let Lewis ride off into the sunset. Its no secret that he isnt happy that Lewis retired instead of rematching him and has continued to claim that he retired Lewis http://www.boxingnews24.com/2010/09/vitali-klitschko-says-i-sent-lennox-lewis-into-retirement/. Tell me Chef why Vitali should be given the luxury of being able to retire in peace when he was reluctant to afford a fellow fighter the same. Was Vitali not claiming that he wanted to KO Haye not so long ago, why all of a sudden is he and his team not so eager on a matchup. Surely by Vitali's logic it would hypocritical of him retire and avoid what looks like a very tough fight for him on paper, is that not a similar situation that made him so bitter with Lewis. If he had not previously claimed he would KO Haye then he wouldnt have given Haye anything to grasp hold of, perhaps he should face Haye to keep to his supposed principles, in Vitali's eyes he retired Lewis by that same silly logic Haye is chasing him into retirement. I really dont know how to read Vitali's mind at times, the above is not necessarily my views but Klitschko's odd actions raise these arguements and thus he puts pressure on himself.

    IMO its 2 different things

    1st. Retire or not retire

2nd. If still fighting then the who, what, where etc will start. I hope its haye and IMO Haye would be 1st choice. Honestly I think it all depends on how the talks go

but like I said, first things first...Retire or fight on

Haye has NOTHING to do with Vitali deciding to retire or fight on. Big fight is irrelevant. Its deciding if the fire is still there or not.

    like I said

    #1 - Fight or retire
    then
    #2 - IF fighting on....who, what, where

None of that explains why so many fighters have complained about K2 contracts. There are more accusations aimed at K2, than there are at Top Rank, Golden Boy, Matchroom, Suerland and many more vastly bigger promotional companies.

Some of you guy ride on Chef a little too hard. I dare any of you guys to speak negatively in public about your employer.

But on the other hand Chef, sometimes you defend stuff wayyy too much, when there really is no need to. i.e. Slave Contracts.

I should be a Marriage Counsellor.

Yes, he should be certain he is ready to let it go and be satisfied that he quit at the right time.

Cause if he retires while still having an itch to fight one more big fight like Haye, Vitali may attempt to come back, after its too late and blemish his career.

I think he'll fight on one more time, and he will be in world class condition, as usual. A nd I hope the opponent is Haye, cause what a way to end a career for Vitali.

Vitali also seems a bit eager/competitive to show he can KO Haye, whereas Wlad could not. In doing so, it would not be as much a matter of having more power, but of being able to corner and then be willing to trade/exhange with Haye more than Wlad seemed to be.

    "slave contract"...like what Haye said?

see the part that kills me is that the idea came from Booth. Wlad would have the normal rematch clause and then booth said we will take on vitali for full unification..... then when haye and booth were starting up with the contract issue, Haye came out with 'slave contract"... thats what im talking about

how they make contracts is up to there lawyers, but most guys seem very very happy with the contracts and fight week... at least from what I see and hear

People should understand Chef's position more imo

I give K2 my honest views.

Go east on him. At least we know he is in the loop and has a voice in camp.

I've never understood Hayes problem with the initial Wlad-Vitali contract.

Haye said he wanted to fight and beat Wlad then fight Vitali, which if I not mistaken was the plan in the contract yet once he's got what he wants it becomes a slave contract.

I can imagine Haye being like a petulant child and I think he's abit to 'clever' for his own good at times.

Haye had his chance Vs. Vlad, but refused to fight, just ran, held, fell down on canvas, complained, etc., Haye also refused to fight Vitali more than once. Vitali will knock him out if he fights him.
