According to Sauerland Event, the WBA wrote the various camps before Klitschko spanked David Haye in July 2011 to make it clear that the Klitschko-Haye winner would have to face the Povetkin-Ruslan Chagaev winner within 18 months of that Aug. 27, 2011 bout.

Sauerland Event claims that Klitschko-Povetkin is due by Feb. 26, 2013 -- 18 months after Povetkin beat Chagaev.

“We are very excited that Povetkin will be Wladimir Klitschko’s next opponent,” promoter Kalle Sauerland said. “We consider Wladimir Klitschko to be a great champion but we also consider Alexander Povetkin to be a very serious challenger. A fight between two Olympic heavyweight champions is always something special and one that will turn out to be a real treat for boxing fans all over the world.”

Sorry mate you clearly don't know what you're talking about and I don't have time to explain it all to you. But are you really that slow?

Here's some bullet points to get you started

    * By definition, in mandatory defenses there are no slave contracts. What part of this don't you understand?
    * The WBA made a decision. If K2 or Sauerland aren't happy with it they can sue the WBA. They can't sue eachother unless they have a signed contact (which they don't).
    * Kalle Sauerland is raging because he isn't making any money with Povetkin after investing millions in him. The entire project has been a huge money pit for Kalle and he's hoping to cash out. See Teddy Atlas' quotes regarding Kalle Sauerland.

So you're admitting Povetkin has pulled out of a fight with Wladimir and a guaranteed $2 million payday 2 years ago. Yes or no? :deal

I never disputed that. Atlas stopped the fight from happening. He was sacked and They signed a contract. Wlad is not honouring the contract. It really is that simple.

It haSN'T stopped k2 from creating mando slave contracts. That is why Povektin camp want to take action with the WBA.

LOL what? Atlas was sacked but Povetkin never showed up for the fight.

Povetkin pulled out of his mandatory fight (after signing a contract) and Wlad complained to the WBA to send in the next highest ranking and available contender as a substitute for Povetkin, which at the time was Samuel Peter. Wlad honored his mandatory obligation with the WBA -- Povetkin (on Teddy Atlas' advice) didn't.

You're new to all this aren't you?

You can't make mandatory slave contracts. Fixed purse splits and no rematch clauses in mandatory contracts :deal

Are you trying to tell me Povekin, his manager and Kalle are ducking Wlad even though they are taking legal action to make the fight happen? Is that what you are telling me?

The thread is supposed to be about Haye and Vitali but hey, let's have a go at Wlad too. His last fight against Thomson... was a joke... even though it was ordered by the IBF, it's all Wlad's fault, Wlad is scrared... :nut

Not sure why all the Klitards take "CHEF"'s word to be the equivalent of the holy grail.

People take these Haye quotes so serious, take them for what they are.
Understand that all Haye is trying to do is force Vitali into a fight for once and not an event where a few thousands people turn up to watch him knock over a blow up doll.

Bernd Bonte is a disgrace to boxing but is not the only person stopping this fight in my opinion. Vitali's political team realise that once Haye knocks Vitali on his arse his political party will disappear.

Haye has said numerous times he thinks Vitali wants it but his "team" , that maybe the famous CHEF knows more about, are the ones stopping it.

From what I've read the two are having intermediate fights before hand. I assume paper will be signed after those otherwise Wald loses his belt.

Damn, Wlad looks old. Don't imagine he has many fights left in him.
