Funny you said this as a lot can change from now to then. Slave contracts, purse negotiation issues, etc.
If Haye wants this fight, he's not really in a position to start all of that stuff again ... he's not even a belt holder now.
I think im going if this is true, Dusseldorf is very close. Should be fitting if my first live big fight is seeing vitali attempt commit legal murder.
I think the 30 seconds or so that Solis wasn't clutching his knee in round 1 showed me that Vitali has slowed enough that he can be caught. Whether Haye will do what is necessary to make the most of that is another question. I think Haye stands more chance against Vitali than he does Wlad simply due to styles. Wlad's command of distance, and superior reactions comparable to his brother at this stage, was enough to make it impossible for Haye to get inside. Vitali on the other hand, while has certain advantages over his brother, I think the greater disparity in speed between himself and Haye will make this fight a little more interesting. Not to mention the fact that Vitali is more likely to want to take the fight to Haye in way that the cautious Wlad doesn't tend to do, at least initially. I expect a very tentative Haye again, he will end up fighting like he did against Valuev/Wlad again whether he likes it or not. He will probably have more success early on though...but Vitali should wear him down and either make him ultra cautious or get the late TKO.
I dont like the whole haye circus though, im oki with the way things turned out and haye fading away in his retirement. Vitali's bloodthirst means if haye somehow gets lucky and wins we will be right back in the 2008-2011 drama of wlad vs haye.
This is the definition of a **** heavyweight division. Stinks out the place yet gets another (immediate no less) shot.
