Good point. Lennox Lewis was smart not to take the rematch. Im not calling him a coward, but the cut was fortuitous, and he knew that he wasnt going to get out of bed again for another fight with Vitali. He retired on top with a victory and can claim he beat every man he ever fought. And it was a legit stoppage.

That said, vitali after the fight basically made it clear that he if he ever rematched Lennox he would annihilate him like a killing machine, although he said it more eloquently.

Hence, when Vitali threatens to hurt you, take that **** seriously.

Haye is going to find this out the hard way.

Jesus Christ. Move it to like :34 mark. The guy lands this big right hand dead center on Vitalis jaw, and it literally does nothing but make Vitali launch right hand right back into his face that rocks him backwards

Yeah, Haye is in for a fun night.

Vitali is an old man, and is going to get riled up by teh Cockney urchin Haye and try to knock him out in round 1. He will make mistakes and Haye will use his speed, the best in the HW division to get round him and pummel him. I wouldnt be surprised to see Vitali rocked, or maybe just outboxed.

Nothing is certain in boxing. Vitali's match against Peter only told us that he was able to beat a fat African who should never have been champion

this is bull**** about anger making vitali lose his gameplan in the ring.

history has shown us that getting vitali super pissed off will only make him bash the **** out of you.

against some other fighters i would agree, but fighters like vitali get more focused when angry.

personally it's a academic point. i think vitali will ko haye but i know why haye picked him. after 4 years off, and close to 38, injuries and shutout over a immobile sam peter who wasn't the same fighter when he faced wladimir - vitali might be ripe for the taking. vitali confidence and focus will be 100%, but the sam peter fight proved nothing about vitali's reflexes, timing and movement etc.

people diss wladimir but at this stage in their careers haye is picking the easier style matchup. wladimir will be a nightmare for haye, while his older brother might just miss with his shots when he is in with someone much younger and faster.

also i dont blame vitali for getting angry over that classless magazine.

especially in the current times with the infamous al qaeda beheadings, it's really crass.

in fact im really disappointed in haye for picking that type of "hype" or "promotion". he must be a slimey ***** in real life if he liked that idea. originally i liked haye despite his loud mouth but now i think he really has crossed the line. beheading images are just not right at anytime, but especially now.
