**** knows why the fight never came off. but haye would have won quite easily in my opinion. he defo did not duck him before all the stupidity starts.
Cunningham said he wanted the winner of Haye vs. Macca. After Haye won, he went around claiming that he cleaned out the division. This of course was a flat out lie as Cunningham was the reigning IBF champ and rated higher than Macca. Cunningham presented Haye with an opportunity to really clean up the division by offering to fight Haye in May or June of 2008 in England. Instead, Haye decided to fight no one instead and then fought journeyman Monte Barrett last Saturday.
**** me didnt take long did it. i think chasing a fight with the klits is a tad better than fighting cunningham dont you think.atsch
Haye was just moving on... he rates Cunningham though, and I think he stated Cun' is far superior fighter to Enzo Mac'.
That's cool, I have no problem with that. However, Haye shouldn't have lied to his fans by claiming he accomplished something that he never did.
basically steves mum got in contact with the networks and said that as steves a nobody she would rather see haye try and conquer the heavyweight division even with that weak ass chin..... call yourselves boxing fans? we need a few more fighters like this this and a few less fights like haye vs cunningham
Haye would KO him, no doubt. But the fight didnt happen due to Cunningham not being a big enough name, plus we all knew Haye was moving to heavyweight after the Enzo fight, which makes sense why Cunningham then decided to challenge him after he made his plans clear.
