    When did I ever say Haye was a *****? Some of you guys are overly sensisitve. I've already said that I have no problem with Haye going to HW. However, this a thread about why the two never fought. I'm sorry I'm not interested in simply slurping Haye like you.

    Cunningham will be cleaning the Hayemakers house in a few years for some extra cash

    Cunningham started calling out Haye AFTER haye announced he was moving up.

    Always remember that and cunningham just wanted a payday against haye imo after he saw the success he smelt the $ and wanted a piece.

    Haye to spark USS early rounds easy win.

    He's 3-1 (1 ko) against the Top 10 cruisers in the division...

    3 of those fights were overseas....

    Steve can't punch, but he punches the crap outta Marco.... And Haye doesn't have the best chin in the world... Mormeck has good pop but, he's short and stamina is a question with him.... Enzo can punch but not that good of a boxer...... Steve is a pretty good boxer, with good amount of pop, and he's about David Haye's size...

    Both have 1 loss, but Haye was the one that got knocked out...

    Some of you guys are hilarious and have no idea what you're talking about. I'll paste this reply that I already posted in this thread;

    "Huh, I nver thought about that. Wait a minute, Haye fought Mormeck and won his first title in Nov. of 2007. Cunningham had a mandatory defense against Hauck scheduled for Dec. of 2007. So It wouldn't have made sense for Cunningham to call out Haye until after he beat Hauck(he was a 4/1 underdog in that fight). Wouldn't you know that Haye had scheduled a fight with Macca by the time Cunningham fought Hauck. Guess what else? Cunningham said he wanted the winner of Haye/Macca about a week after the Hauck fight. So tell me again, when should Cunningham have called out Haye?"

    Cunningham should have beat the **** out of Woldlarzcky when he had his 2 chances (spelling is surely off) and we wouldn't be having this conversation

    A fight between Haye and Cunningham did not happen for a very simple reason.

    Haye accomplished what he wanted to at cruiserweight by beating Mormeck. CW was always a stepping stone for him, his dream from childhood being to be HW champion.

    There was no reason in sporting terms for him to fight at CW again.

    Maccarinelli secured a fight with Haye by virtue of two things: foremost, Frank Warren supplying a truck load of cash and, secondly, the fact that it was a big domestic clash made it a profile-raising opportunity for Haye.

    Cunningham, on the other hand, offered no cash whatsoever and the profile of the fight would have been no higher (and probably lower) than Haye v Barrett. He offered no reason for Haye to chase him and did not seriously chase Haye himself. Cunningham made some media noise for some free publicity for himself but ultimately did not put an offer to Haye on the table.

    Has Cunningham ever been down in his career before??

    I also find it funny how sensitive all the brits are getting about the subject.

    And all you guys saying he wasn't a name well he made a pretty good name for himself in europe beating the Pole and Huck.......
