Cunningham, in my opinion, is overrated. He's decent, but I doubt he could stand up to Haye and I don't think he has the power to worry Haye.

Haye did clean out the division! The IBF stripped oneil bell of their title and gave it to Cunningham, Bell went on to lose the WBA, WBC and Ring titles to jean marc mormeck. Haye stopped jean marc mormeck in the 7th round making him the number 1 in the division. After this he stopped the only other legit champ in the division enzo mac in two rounds. In my view Haye did clean out the division completely!

No he did not clean out the division. Bell was stripped of his title for refusing to face Cunningham and then he sat around for months fighting no one. And Cunningham wasn't given the belt, he had to beat Wlodarczyk to get it. I don't know how Haye can clean out the division by beating Macca when Cunningham was rated higher and had a major title. Had Bell lived up to his responsibilities as a champ, Cunningham would've had all 3 belts.

He said he wanted to be number one in the division , and that he accomplished when beating Mormeck.

He also claimed he cleaned out the division, which he didn't do.

Big Reg you really are a ****ing ******:rofl He's after the KLITSCHOS. Now he's not going to be granted a world title fight at H/W when he's never fought anyone at H/W, so he has to get a top 10 ranking.......which is where Monte Barrett comes in!! Simple stuff really mate:good

Haye was ranked in the top 10 by the WBC and WBO before even fighting Barrett. So there goes that bull**** excuse. Regardless, Haye claimed his first fight at HW would be against a top 10 guy, and that's not Barrett.

BigReg he wanted to fight a top 10 rated American but found there weren't any so he fought Barrett instead.

I think you're confused. Haye's contract with Setanta Sports obliges him to face opponents who are ranked in the top ten with one of the main four sanctioning bodies.

Barrett was ranked by the WBO, hence satisfies that contractual obligation.

No, he said a top 10 HW. He's looking to fight the Klits, why the hell would he need to fight a top 10 American? Even if he did want to fight an American, Chambers and Thompson are rated higher than Barrett. They both were willing to fight him.

Great, that really narrows it down. Regardless, he went around saying a top 10 HW, not a top 10 rated HW from any of the sanctioning bodies. Barrett is not that good, you all know it. He's a decent fighter, and he's not much of a name. I don't even know why we're talking about Barrett. If Haye wants to fight set-ups at HW, that's fine by me.
