OK, I've just watched Haye/Mormeck and Adamek/Bell. Lets compare their performances since the opponents were quite equal in skills. If Haye is so much better in any aspect then why had he been losing the fight against Mormeck untill the KO? Unlike Adamek who utterly schooled Bell. Not to mention, Adamek made a huge progress since CW, but can we say the same about Haye? [ame]www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUextFFCvcY[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCAHR7dnZaQ[/ame]
Haye cant even put a 3 punch combo, whereas adamek hits you with 6 punches like they re thrown in the same time, if somebody cant see that adamek is the more skilled of the two, then the rational debate is pointless.
Funny thing about Haye The Chicken. He said that he wasn't going to fight with Audley Harrison, but a lot of boxing fans made him consider that fight. I don't know any boxing fan who wouldn't like Adamek/Haye battle , why is he ducking then? That could seriosly be the fight of the year. Damn, Haye is so pathetic.
LOL Haye more skilled than Adamek. Adamek is a much more rounded fighter than Haye has ever been. Single wild shots is all Haye does.
Sadly I gotta give the nod to Adamek. He takes a better shot, he's more durable, has better ring command and doesn't blow his wad. He fights for 12 rds and doesn't slow down or flurry. Haye can't potshot Adamek to a decision, and is unlikely to stop Adamek, whereas I think Adamek would work steady for however long it goes until Haye gets caught. Adamek by TKO, probably a towel job during a finish.
When some people see a guy fight like a negligent clown, they think he must skilled, slick and all that. Granted, Haye may be quick in his hands but he negates this quickness by refusing to put punches together, pot shooting from time to time. Adamek maximizes his quickness by throwing combos and being active throughout the fight. In other words, he has more stamina to sustain his attacks. Adamek has taken some of the hardest hitters (Arreola, Grant, Bell, Banks), I trully doubt Haye stops him, which is the only chance he has to win if both guys bring their A game.
Voted Haye ko/tko but this is as close to 50/50 as you can get in the HW division. Adamek is open to Hayes straight right, as good as his chin is I can't see him taking too many. However if Adamek does take the punches he'd win UD based on being more active throughout the fight.
Backpeddling isnt defense which Haye has none of.Dont think he would get away with hanging his left hand at his hip against Adamek. And im more than sure Adamek would make him pay each and every time Haye overshoots his punches and ends up off balance something he does frequently. Haye's best chance is to land a bomb but Adamek has shown he can take a bomb so it would be interesting to say the least.
