I'm not going to draw up a list. Its pointless. Its a bit like the p4p list. There's the best, then there's the rest it shouldn't really have been made into a list.Haye hits hardest p4p in my opinion and in the opinion of many others also.I'm interested in who you have as the hardest hitter in the world.I can see a case for others though,so let hear it...
How so? Adamek is a natural LHW and he has done as much at 200 lbs as Haye (who can't even make CW anymore) did.
Adamek has faced huge punchers before. Paul Briggs is still the hardest puncher at light heavyweight, albeit not as skilled as Haye. Believe me, Adamek's defense was much worse then, than it is now and he took everything Briggs was throwing at him in both fights. Adamek can withstand Haye's attack, especially at CW. Can Haye withstand Adamek's?
Adamek has a good chin and we don't know about Haye's chin ... I wouldn't doubt that Haye would win because of his physicality but ... it wouldn't be that big of a white wash.
What about Haye's defense? Fragomeni and Mormeck were all over him the entire fight. Yeah, Adamek has shown some defensive liabilities. But Adamak has also shown a very sturdy chin. Were as Haye has been badly rocked by a light punching journeyman Supermiddlewight. And has no durability.
One very important point I haven't heard brought up is the speed factor. Adamek lost to dawson b/c of his hand speed. Haye has very good if not better handspeed. Haye by KO
There were other factors at play, besides Dawson's speed, some to do with Dawson's natural attributes (southpaw) and others that were circumstantially present with Adamek (eg., the curse of Buddy). Additionally, Adamek found a way to beat the speedy and more crafty (than Haye) Cunningham. Banks was no slow poke either, at least early on. Adamek has only gotten better and stronger since the fight against Dawson and would probably give Dawson hell at CW. Even if Haye were to win every round against Dawson, it doesn't therefore follow that he must beat Adamek.
