I'd favour Haye at this point...Haye has the power to hurt and the speed to connect on Adamek (and maybe vise versa)...but Adamek was easily found last night by a slow (bigger) opponent. If the Adamek who turned up against Grant, shows up against Haye...Haye wins.
Adamek is simply a slightly worse version of haye. Less power Less speed Could argue adamek is slightly better technically but I don't think so. I reckon Haye would have gotten grant out of there early if he had fought him.
Adamek by stoppage. Goral has shown that his chin can take punches from Arreola and Grant- I don't think Haye hits appreciably harder. Haye, however, has beens topped by a super middle and dropped by Barret. Adamek can match that power. Haye is faster, but has had stamina issues, whereas Adamek throws a lot of punches over 12.
Better chin, better stamin, throws more punches. They have nothing to do with each other style wise, actually.
Heart - Adamek Chin- Adamek Power - Haye Stamina - Adamek Speed - Slightly Haye Ring IQ - Adamek Experience - Adamek Grit, toughness - Adamek All Adamek has to do is weather Hayes initial storm. Adamek UD.
He did take the punches from Arreola and Grant...but he was out on his feet on at least two occasions against Grant. Against someone who could finish, Adamek would have been stopped last night. Haye may not hit harder than Arreola and Grant, but in terms of explosiveness...he is miles ahead of the two. I agree on the Haye has stamina issues though...he can't produce a high output over 12 rounds.
It's not a slight speed advantage; Haye is blisteringly fast for a heavyweight (he is pretty much a cruiserweight-both are really). I think people tend to think less of Haye's abilities because they hate his personality.
