David Haye by early stoppage. The Psycho Killer would be beaten to the punch more often than not, and I don't conceive the Pole taking David Haye's right hands for too long. There is the possibility that Adamek lands his own shots, but I think it's more probable that Haye lands his first since he's sporting better athleticism, faster hands, and considerably more power. Two of Haye's biggest weaknesses, his punch resistance and stamina, I don't see really coming to the fore.
Someone appears to live in fantasy Land! Delusional. Haye has very little chin, has wide punches, lunges, no stamina. Solis stopped Haye in the amateurs. Haye was also stopped by small fighter as pro. Haye is hiding from Klitschkos. Chagaev is Haye's mandatory. Watch Haye try to get out of that fight! Adamek fights good fighters. Haye runs and hides.
david haye would win because I don't think adamek would hold any distinct advantages other than chin which would be tested more than ever before, therefore making the possibility of it getting cracked greater than ever. also, the speed advantage which is most definitely in haye's favor, would play a role in adamek's ultimate downfall I think. he snuck by estrada, beat arreola and grant because of his speed of foot. I dont think this would be an advantage in the haye fight. the one wild card I think is the fact that adamek is an arturo gatti level of warrior, while haye hasn't necessarily fully proved his mettle in that area(not saying he doesn't have a fighter's spirit, as he proved against mormeck and barrett), and the sheer will and determination of fighters in the face of sure defeat has won fights on countless occasions in boxing history.
Like Michael Grant, Jason Estrada, and Andrew Golota. By all means, push your agenda as far as it'll go, but no need to imply Adamek has been fighting destroyers as a Heavyweight. It simply isn't true, and you'd have been giving Haye **** had he decided to fight Grant.
you forgot chris arreola, an elite, albeit bowling ball bellied and torpedo tittied, heavyweight also, what destroyers exist in the division other than the top three guys
According to many of Adamek's ardent supporters, a victory over Jason Estrada is infinitely more credible than a victory over Valuev.
absurd. fair enough, but can you name some destroyers other than the top three. I just dont see the point of critiquing the man's choice of opposition as an upstart heavyweight in a division devoid of truly menacing talent.
These delusional Adamek fans are the same people who were picking Golota over Lennox Lewis. Wake up! Adamek is a blown-up light-heavyweight with the power to match. Haye legitimately outgrew cruiserweight and has carried his power up. The only question is whether Haye KOs Adamek in the early rounds or it gets stopped late due to accumulation i.e. just how strong Adamek's cheen is. Adamek has very done well at HW for a man with his size and power disadvantage. He can take a decent punch and he is faster than most heavies and he has used this to his advantage to beat the people he's beaten. Nonetheless...Grant was past it, Estrada is third rate, Golota was shot and Arreola was overweight and not as proven as some think (his best win is Walker, Witherspoon or McCline). I don't see any more potential from Adamek. He gave it his all against Michael Grant and was far from comfortable. That does not bode at all well for fights against the likes of Dimitrenko or Helenius, let alone the Klitschkos. Versus Haye, Adamek will not be quicker. Haye will have the power and size advantage and Adamek will not be able to neutralise these advantages with speed. Haye will beat him to the punch most of the time and even if Haye's chin is not the best Adamek hasn't enough power at HW to KO him with one punch. Can Adamek get up from the shots that had Ruiz on the canvas within 30 seconds? Perhaps, but twelve rounds is a long time...
Neither do I. I'm not in the business of discrediting top flight operators, least of all ones I actually like, but Adamek's supporters have been very vocal in criticizing David Haye's level of opposition. I only raise the issue of Adamek's competition as a retort because, quite frankly, he's fought Andrew Golota, Michael Grant, and Jason Estrada. How can you rubbish Haye's level of opposition whilst championing Adamek's in the process. It's insanity.
Notice that Mrs. Haye left out Arreola. I doubt if Haye would fight Grant! Haye ran from Valouev, did not throw any punches. Jim Watt said there is not way Haye can win this fight by not throwing punches, then Haye's judges did something stupid and gave Haye a gift. Now Haye will stay in hiding. Will the WBA force Haye to fight Chagaev?
Chris Arreola was a good scalp. He looked dreadful last time out on ESPN, though. Shame. He's squandering.
honestly, I dont think you can champion either of their choice of competition at heavyweight. valuev is a plodding snooze machine and arreola has skills that are neutralized by his clear tendency to overeat.
If Arreola gets his hands fixed/healed, Haye should fight him. However, I think Haye should fight Adamek next. Chagaev is Haye's mandatory.............Compare Chagaev/Valouev with Haye/Valouev. No comparison.
