Well , i think its 50-50 Haye has more power and quicker one-two combo Adamek has better chin, better stamina and i think bigger heart:He is Highlander I thikn that chances are 50-50
It's true that Haye's HW record isn't special but he has shown far more potential than Adamek. Yes, Haye was very cautious against Valuev but he had hurt his hand on that freak's head, was never in any trouble and did enough to get the decision. Adamek struggled with Michael Grant and he is a couple of levels below Valuev. Haye has also shown genuine HW power - knocking out the robust Ruiz, hurting Valuev for the first time in his career, getting the job done against Barrett and Bonin. Adamek has only stopped a fossilised Golota. I can't see that there is any more to come from Adamek. He is coming up 34 and as recently as 2007 he lost a fight in the light-heavyweight division. He has done well for himself since then but his limitations are obvious. If he could only beat Grant 116-112 then he will really struggle with the next level of super HWs such as Dimitrenko, Austin and Helenius. He couldn't KO the weak-chinned Grant which is an invitation to other heavies to disrespect his power and trade shots with him. Adamek's fans seem to be totally overemphasising his good chin. I don't care who you are - if the likes of Wlad or Haye land flush...you are falling. Ruiz had a good chin too and took more shots than most anyone could but he didn't last the distance against Haye.
He WAS probably one clean punch away from being knocked down...his legs were jelly for a few seconds at least once, that was clear to see...so yeah he was "out on his feet" for a few seconds. It's probably more common to see knockouts up at Heavyweight because of the size and power, etc...but every Heavyweight is not one punch away from being knocked out. I can name a good few Heavyweights, past and present, who have never looked to be in any big trouble throughout their career...and not even close to the trouble Adamek was in, even just for those few seconds. Yes he was wobbled and I know it happens in bouts...but me stating that he was wobbled was not an attack on Adamek. I used that example, if I remember rightly, to make a prediction of why I think Haye would beat Adamek based on his performance against Grant. If Haye were to catch Adamek with the shot Grant caught him with that took his legs for a few seconds...I'd be confident in saying Adamek would not have been let off the hook, whether you believe Adamek rescued that situation or not. And no...I am not seeing what I want to see. I'm not a massive fan of either Haye or Adamek...
Before this weekend i would have called this fight a 50/50 and the 1 fight in the HW division i really wanted to see... After watching how Adamek struggled with Grant i see Haye being more in the range of a 70/30 favourite. Haye is quicker, accurate with great timing and hits like a mule and Adamek is there to be hit. Farmboxer you're obsessed and post like you're autistic
Haye tkos Adamek by Rd 6. Adameks too brave and easy to hit. The point people are making is, that even though 1 hayemaker won't Ko Adamek, Haye has the ability to land 4 or 5 in succession if he gets his opponent hurt. He beats people up.
Haye by 7-8KO IMO. Adameks a nice boxer, but I think he lacks power at the top weight. Hayes power will wear him down
Haye may have questions regarding his chin and stamina but his heart, experience and Grit, toughness are at least on a par with Adamek. Haye was out on his feet due to stamina vs Carl "the cat" Thompson, he never gave up and was trying to throw even with nothing in the tank!! Then against Mormeck he was floored and got up to knock him out in deverstating fashion. Heart, grit and toughness right there. All that gives you experience, then due to his loss he changed his style worked harder on his stamina and changed as a fighter adding more depth. Then vs Valuev he changed his style once more showing ring IQ. I really rate Adamek and think it will be an awesome fight and hope it comes off but look at it from both sides. I am going for a Haye KO but think if Adamek can stay in there he could nick a tight decsion. I didn't think Adamek adapted too well against dawson so I don't know why you think he has such a superior ring IQ.
hae would win. he is better skilled, has better power, better speed, better reflexes. adamek doesnt look overly good at hw fom what ive seen. ive not yet seen him vs grant but i seen him vs golota, estrada(that was the guys name right?) and arreola and i havent been impressed. his lack of power is very evident, and if arreola had wanted to he could have beaten adamek that night.
i cannot believe noone has responded to this. ou ask us to compare and then say there is no comparison
If Adamek can avoid Haye like the plague, keep moving and box like he's never before he could take a SD-UD. Personally I think Haye catches him numerous times and regardless of how good people think Adameks chin is it's goodnight. Haye hits more accurately and far harder than Grant or Arreola.
****, man, you consider yourself as unbiased you say like haye is some kind of a superman but the facts are a bit different, he barely scratch valuev for 11 rounds...
