Unless, you're joking, please either educate yourself and then come in here and admit your mistake, or kill yourself as a small way to help clean up the gene pool.

 

The thread starter could apologise by killing himself and you could capture it on film and make a great tribute vid to the shittest thread starter ever! I know you could make an immense one with material like that.

 

Would be a tough fight for sure but I see Haye catching Ali mid to late rounds when he crumbles due to Haye's relentless pressure, Haye is alot better conditioned as the pictures clearly show...

Not entirely sure what samurai style seppuku is, but i reckon it would make for a classic vid.

To make it short: seppuku is the ritual suicide from ancient Japan, mostly used when a samurai screwed up so badly that either death is the only way to make up for it or to show he didn't intentionally screw things up. (Or, alternatively, to deny the enemy the glory of beating you.) The guy committing ritual suicide takes a knife into one side of his stomach, cuts sideways until he disembowels himself.

Even Feudal Japan realized that this was a bit extreme, and usually had a second there who would cut off the head of person committing suicide before they could break down or lose their resolve after they started cutting.

(Oh, the things you learn from history and anthropology classes.)

 

Even if they fight tomorrow with Ali in a wheelchair a favor Ali over Haye!

No problem. Hey, I had to learn this stuff because of other reasons, so unless someone is studying Japanese history I wouldn't really expect them to be familiar with it. (I've just been hanging out with too many nerds besides myself lately I guess, which is why I mentioned it in the first place.)

Yeah thanks, same to you Wanderer. I'm in some kind of revision block at the moment though and it's annoying the life out of me, i'll have to shake it immediately. Being back on esb all the time doesn;t help!
