Riddick Bowe said that Hide was the hardest hitting fighter he ever fought.

Hide put on a very impressive performance in losing to Bowe, and he's become something of a joke figure over the years which is a shame....he wasn't the best fighter ever but he wasn't as outright awful as people make out.

    Who has 40 KO's in 45 wins?

I suspect you are talking about WALD...I never even mentioned WALD in my post I just said that the heavyweight division is full of bums, which it quite plainly is.

Some of you WALDO lovers are way too defensive at times. I understand why due to him being starched by bums but on this occasion I wasn't actually referring to him.

I think the systematic beating he sustained at the hands of Bowe seriously damaged his punch resistance - the man who lost that bout wouldn't have been felled by the powder puff punches which mysteriously KOed him in the Vitali fight. The Bowe loss ****ed him up mentally to some extent , I think.

However, he still showed heart to recapture the WBO title and defeat some fringe contenders.
