So did Nicolai Valuev. Bellew got destroyed by Adonis Stevenson. Haye might actually leave dents in the side of this guy's head when he lands a punch. This is just a British dust up. Truthfully, Bellew has about as much of a chance of beating Haye as Tommy Karpency - another Adonis Stevenson KO victim - would. I expect Bellew to last about as long as Enzo Maccarinelli, and have about as much success as Enzo did. Another four-minute fight for Haye.
Wasn't it Bellew who pushed first? You knew Haye was going to get right in his face, which is allowed in face offs. Why is the retaliator always blamed for a cheap shot?
wonder if bellew will try that again. he looked shook after getting back hand off haye. what for those shovels to hit you son
It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Haye had gone there knowing there could be a heated head to head and he had every intention of throwing punches and then playing the victim. He did the same thing with Chisora, he seems to love to goad people but then doesn't like it when the opponent goads back or at least reacts to him. Why was he not as aggressive with Fury? Why did he refuse to engage Wlad in the pre fight talks? Haye isn't as witty as he thinks, he's a charlatan and a fraud.
It was Haye forcing his head up into Bellews. Remember Haye has form with Chisora another episode in which Haye plays the victim after he lashes out.
Yeah having now seen it I have to admit that Haye is so quick for a heavy weight,I'd love it if he went back down to cruiser weight to be honest to take Usyk and co. Haye knew that s*** was gonna go down there with Bellew, check out Haye as he gets up from his chair?check out how he was tensing his face muscles in the knowledge that it would be a spicy stand off between the pair.
Listen I like Haye and he's a monster no doubt but that said I just can't disagree with what you've just said, for some reason in big fights Haye freezes up and hardy throws a punch like he's scared of getting countered like Ward was with Kovalev. As I said the other day about Lomachenko, the reason I like him is he actually boxes like he does when he's shadow punching in the gym, such a rare thing to see,I'm still waiting for Haye to step up on big fights and replicate what he does against a heavy bag or something?
Been saying it for ages. Haye is the most feared HW out there. He still has immense speed and power. He is knocking Bellew out cold in this one.
I don't see Haye playing the victim here at all. He looks as if he doesn't care what anyone thinks. Maybe he's getting tired of all these foolish press conferences. All I could see from Haye's attitude was "Yeah I hit him, so what?". He seemed irritated by Bellews camp acting like schoolgirls craving drama.
I have been an active boxer/fighter my whole life with both amateur and pro fights and I love this kind of stuff! Pointless fight but a very fun fight, looking forward to it!
