According to Gareth A Davies. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/telegrap...today-discussing-the-Haye-Harrison-fight.html
doubt it'll happen, who wants to get bloody with chagaev, no thanks! hayes in a bit of a pickle in which klitschko to fight? probly more money to be made if he can beat vladimir first.
I would be in favour of this fight if the Klit bout does not happen....however I did read the first post as 'according to Gareth Gates'....
I wouldn't blame Haye for making that fight, Chagaev is a tough challenger (his toughest IMO). I hope Haye and Booth consider asking the WBA for an exception in order to stage a unification with Vitali for the WBC/WBA belts. If the WBC agreed as well then that would be a huge fight. Much better for the sport than Vitali - Solis and Haye - Chagaev.
I heard this on TalkSport yesterday, Davies just said it was a possibility as Chagaev can not get licensed in the UK. Don't expect it to happen.
If David Haye wants to fight someone, besides the Kiltschko. Fight someone like David Tua. That would be one exciting build up and tense affair. All these Russians or Soviet fighters are boring.
Lets see what happens in his next fight, he was ill before the Barrett fight so his trainners said. And i still think for 90% of the fight he had Barrett running, and he was beating him down......Barrett was fighting to survive most of the time. I think David Tua will spark out Monte Barrett in thier rematch.
Sounds good. If Chagaev is at 80% of this best he should stop Haye halfway into the fight. A decent version of Chagaev has more than enough to expose Haye's defence, and if Haye throws as few punches as he has done in the past it could end sooner rather than later
